C.Parker (belmont) is a star..... he is as cool as they come! I heard he had 30 kicks of the leather against Banno and hit the target nearly everytime. Nth Shore were spewing he left and from what i hear are willing to spend big to get him back!! A young devolping defender who rarely gets beaten is very hard to find, exspecially one of his body size. Go Christopher

yeah baz got two weeks!
need him bak out there great onfield leader,
massive impact in the side!
True mate been awesome this year should win our best and fairest easy, probably his best year ever, big loss for us the next 2 weeks i dont think there is any player harder than him

Adam Skrobolak will coach Bacchus Marsh next year!!! Signed sealed and delivered.... watch this space
I know he is a Marsh boy so accept the fact that this may be correct but other than the cash why would he want to go and coach the Marsh. His current and previous coaching gigs at East and Torquay respectively were selected on the fact that the teams at a minimum had a chance of playing finals and a possibility of winning them whereas the Marsh are a long way from that.

Tips for the round;

North by a far bit over Anakie
Winchelsea to be competitive but lose to Bannock
Werribee in a canter against West
BPH to bounce back hard over Inver
East in a close one over the City Tigers
Corio by s slender margin in the match with Belmont

Marsh have told him they have an open cheque book next year. They do it once a decade- they did it in about 2000 or something and they did it in the 90's with Kourkamelis, Meldrum and Heath Buck. Thats why they are an average club and are never successful for more than a year a decade but next year might be that year. Skrubbas dad Jersey still often wears his Marsh hat when the Castrol one is dirty and he would be wrapped to see the big boy back.

that is the biggest joke ever 2 weeks. the gdfl r as weak as piss. would barry b close 2 the 16 week suspension rule? if so is that why it was only 2 weeks

Looks good to me, Drago, although I think the Lions may get the points. Should be a good game with both sides wanting to finish off disappointing seasons with a few more wins

I don't think he would be anywhere near 16 weeks. I can't remember him getting too many in the last 10 years

Few things came out of todays games. East are now clear premiership favs and Inverleighs season is over. BPH probably showed the sort of form it needs to sustain to seriously challenge for the flag...

cant argue with any of that, cant c any1 getting near east geelong at the moment, inverleigh r still a year or 2 off being 1 of the top sides, most of the players r under 21

Bourky I think that was the Grand Final preview but on the day East or Thomson could win. Should make a good GF day

yeah, you're probably right on the money there mate. BPH are the only other team that can make the GF IMO, they have good leg speed and should play St.Albans pretty well with quick guys like Holzfiend and Ellis running around.

Spoke with skrubba this week and he said Thompson cant win it, he said they are soft at the contest and he is more worried about Anakie than Thompson.

Not at the game on Satdee but believe it was the usual Thomson/East battle, unfortunately ruined by ineptness by the umpiring fraternity....believe there were a few East supporters there (a few more than I counted in late 2006 when last count in the first quarter there were a mere 5 supporters - fickle bunch!!!).
Just on Skrobba my mail is he's heading back to coach Bacchus Marsh next year. Would certainly deplete East as I'd imagine a few would follow as there aren't a lot of 50+ Gamerrs at East

Don't know what you mean by this as there are always decent turn-ups for the Thomson game regardless of the ladder position and by the way from the side that played on Saturday at least 10 would have played 50 games for the club including Skrobba.
