I have heard that its players from last year that were said to be leaving in M. Worland, M. Day, T McClure that have signed on at Winch. Good players to keep on board.

Trent won't be playing for Winchelsea next year. He told me the other day he would rather eat his own vomit than embarrass himself at that club again.

I only got to see a couple of Winchelsea games during the year and yeah he was good for winchelsea in a team that finished 7th in the GDFL. Not sure whether he'll cut ones at Ammo's... but hey good luck to him

Centrals could be the surprise packet in "08" and ive been told from a reliable source that he has asked his good mate disco aitken to go with him????? Has anyone heard of this???? I thought Craig Hardingham was assistant. Boothey would be great for centrals but have heard he is going back to his old club in the WRFL. Spotswood i think.

Boothey thats a bit of a surprise? my sources tell me aitken will stay at Corio his never played senior finals and you would think the devils would be this season. Apparently the club really looked after him last year aswell so he will stay definately

Have any of you guys with Corio ties ( Devilfish, Buddah etc ) heard that Ricky O'Toole has been ringing Matt Kershaw persistently to get him to have a year in the goal square for the devils? My mail says he's thinking hard about it and could be half a chance. If this is true, Corio must still have some money because Kershaw doesn't play for free.

In what way? From all reports, when he packed it in half way through the year, he never even watched them play. Dodgey ankle, no certainty to pull boots back on.

No chance, rick has been told not too get him too the club from what i have been told, also i think kershaw might have something to do with port melbourne in the vfl. so i would think if he took up that position that he would have much time on his hands to play???

Completely wrong. He will have the whole season to try and build a decent side. apparently they have recruited quite well so expect Centrals to improve on their perfomance of 2007.

They would have to recruit some defenders because if they are going to rely on Danny Ruck and Nevada Cornwell to do the job down there they are going to run into some strife against quality forwards.
