Very good point that one, it really does put them on the back foot. Maybe they had to prove to the AFL that they already had a deal lined up for next year before they were allowed to trade another pick out for Thuoy?

Either way I hope other teams screw them accordingly knowing if they don't get it done they're ****ed. The AFL should at least ban them from the draft for one year if they can't abide by the rules.

Stephen Wells is one of the biggest frauds in football. They're even calling him out for it over on the Handbagger board these days because their draft choices have largely been shit since their flag years. The last A grader they drafted was Harry Taylor back in 2007!

That's because they all secretly despise Geelong, the club that made them endure a 40 year Premiership drought that was only broken by Stephen Dank.
Its a club that's always stood for mediocrity and H&A game achievement and deep down that disgusts them. Which is why most Handbagger fans are infatuated by Hawthorn, a superior organization in every conceivable respect.

Wells is a fraud & Motlop a lazy shit so I don't blame them for disliking either of them. Most Cats fans have the good sense not to rate Chris Scott either.

There was all this talk of giving him a statue outside Kardinia Park, which would've been massively overrating him. 3 non-consecutive flags has been bettered twice in the last 15 years alone.

Geelong needs to trade in one for next year. Anywhere in the first round will do, so Duckwood might attract pick 18 if Geelong also throws in a 2nd rounder as well.
