And you are almost "Manchester United".You almost won a three-peat
No, just check in from time to time. This thread has progressed about 30 pages since the last time I opened it. Anything worth going back to read?
The latest revelation on the Hawf front is that you guys are trying to break into the EPL. Not for me to say but I think you guys may be taking this whole 'expansion' fad a little too seriously...This thread has progressed about 30 pages since the last time I opened it. Anything worth going back to read?
You could be right, the similarities between the Hawfs and Man U are startling. If we win it again this year and move to Dingley next year then we could be. Clarko just signed on for another three years.

Your statement will never be tested, because Geelong will never try to whore themselves out to Tasmania.
GAME. SET. MATCH

And you are almost "Manchester United".
Does Geelong have a viable fan base?
We've never had to whore ourselves out interstate so I'd say yes.
Who you personally would rather watch play a 'friendly' on a Friday night than your own AFL club of choice.Geelong is Portsmouth
A shit truck minnow that is financially stuffed
We've never had to whore ourselves out interstate so I'd say yes.
Why don't the mighty Hawks have their own stadium? Why do the mighty Hawks play home games interstate? Why are the mighty Hawks really nothing more than a glorified minnow?Maybe you should whore yourself out, then just maybe you might not be such a massive minnow.
Its pretty simple, Hawthorn has more Premierships, more members, more supporters, more assets, more revenue, more cash in the bank....in every single facet of a successful football club, Geelong is inferior.
Geelong ain't viable...its a town full of peasants.

So when will the mighty Hawks be hosting home games at Box Hill City Oval, Waverly Park or Dingley? Seems kind of pointless to have all these grounds yet none of them are up to AFL standard. So basically Hawf have a similar setup to Norf, where they split their home games between MCG/Etihad and Tasmania. Norf = minnow therefore Hawf = minnow. They do you silly
Box Hill City Oval, Waverley Park and Dingley on the way...
Throw in the MCG for 7 home games (10-12 home and away games total) and 4 games at York Park
Fun fact of the day...Hawthorn plays more games at the MCG (East Melbourne) than the minnow Cats in Geelong (7-8 games)
