3 recent flags but the Cats are nearly as broke as Brisbane. Why?

Oh stabby... what must life be like in that bizarre world you inhabit? I would pay a visit just to gasp in amazement at grandeur of the illusions you've constructed. The Handbaggers probably are the 'greatest team of all' in your little fantasy realm, heck they might even been peptide-free in those remarkable cubic centimeters within your skull.

While the rest of us glance over your posts with a frown and a sad shake of the head, I've no doubt you genuinely believe you're the undisputed King of BigFooty, the hero who's never lost an argument... except with himself. It must all be true because you believe it right? Well who am I to shatter the misconceptions you've worked so hard to create, so in future I'll just nod my head politely at your ramblings in the vain hope you won't do yourself any more harm.
Off on Bosk's famous tangents... well done. :thumbsu:

About my previous post. Care to have another dabble, or has 84,85 made you even more angry? Another account ban, perhaps?:thumbsu:

Handbaggers must be filthy at the bombers for costing them the fourpeat.

In the same way Carlton and Essendon make Hawks melt ? makes sense going by your logic

1983 Hawthorn (5) Essendon (12) 20.20 (140) d. 8.9 (57)
1984 Essendon (13) Hawthorn (3) 14.21 (105) d. 12.9 (81)
1985 Essendon (14) Hawthorn (4) 26.14 (170) d. 14.8 (92)
1986 Hawthorn (6) Carlton (11) 16.14 (110) d. 9.14 (68)
1987 Carlton (15) Hawthorn (5) 15.14 (104) d. 9.17 (71)

11 wins in a row against you.
Cost you the 2011 Premiership.
Cost you making finals in 09.
Beat you in the 63 GF.

It's ok... You'll get over it one day.

Nokia get out of there and use your real account
This alias is as boring as your actual one

Oh and yes, by the way this is an epic nuclear meltdown

Maybe you should close yours. The Tazsquawk comparisons are eerie.

That's not what you said.

King Cold - 'you know as well as I do that the Hawks would have been fresh for the GF after a training run'

Nobody knows, you claim to know because you are willingly delusional.

I never said that Hawthorn would have won the 2011 premiership had they managed to beat us in the QF.

I just said they would have been fresh after a week's break if they had won the QF, therefore giving themselves a better shot at winning the flag.

I already differentiated from knockout blows and games that matter.

Still trying to say that QF's don't matter? :$

There is no home ground advantage in the GF, check the stats.

Stats that are distorted by teams that won flags off the back of concessions?

Who cares what you separated, you're quoting percentage as though it is even calculated. Finals are winners take all, there is no second prize and there is no percentage LOL

3 flags is 3 flags, however the stats point to Geelong being the more dominant team :thumbsu:

Nah, most of the rushed behinds in the 08 Grand Final would still occur today. The only flagrant rushed behind was Mark Williams snap shot, and the game was over by then anyway. This is another example of a time where you should just accept the result instead of invoking cheating where it doesn't exist.

There were 11 rushed behinds all up, and it wasn't cheating, it was just an unsportsmanlike tactic.

Except in finals, where dynasties are won and lost.

Hawthorn will find that out this year when they attempt to win another flag and rubber stamp their dynasty as the greatest of the modern era.

Don't choke :thumbsu:

Jeff Kennet did some good things but if he had his way Clarkson and the Hawks wouldn't have a 3Peat.
Nakia is that you?
You are the only other Geelong fan on Bigfooty that raises the same individual honours as credit in the debate. If it's not Nakia you sure are his groupie

People who recognise Geelong's dynasty as being superior to Hawthorn's by acknowledging the facts :thumbsu:

I know what you said, you don't need to translate it for me. You claimed that we would've been fresh for a Grand Final if we won the QF, therefore assuming that we make the Grand Final if we win the QF. I've already explained how this is delusional, you're assuming too much about alternate futures.

Still trying to say that QF's don't matter? :$

I already said all games matter to some extent. The QF isn't a knockout final though, so Hawthorn would have the ultimate satisfaction in winning the do or die games against Geelong, especially since they ultimately put them ahead of Geelong in the dynasty comparisons. It used to be that Geelong had the better dynasty, now only degenerates like Nokia pretend it's still the case.

Stats that are distorted by teams that won flags off the back of concessions?

Regardless of concessions there is no proven home ground advantage.

3 flags is 3 flags, however the stats point to Geelong being the more dominant team :thumbsu:

No, 3 flags is not 3 flags when discussing dynasties, more flags in a shorter timespan indicates a stronger club. This is how dynasties are recognised, you can cling to your finals percentage bullshit, but that's a fringe idea that nobody cares about.

There were 11 rushed behinds all up, and it wasn't cheating, it was just an unsportsmanlike tactic.

It was neither. Hawthorn had Geelong's measure all day, it's time for you to move on already.

Hawthorn will find that out this year when they attempt to win another flag and rubber stamp their dynasty as the greatest of the modern era.

Why would they find out anything this year about a rule change that occured 8 years ago? That doesn't even make any sense. They've already rubber stamped themsevles as the greatest dynasty of the modern era, you're just mad that they stepped all over Geelong to do it.

Yep, unsubscribe. No need to listen to the Hawfs waffling on, trying to convince themselves that they're somehow relevant in comparison to Geelong when the dynasty debate arises.

You lost a final in a premiership year... case closed. adios.

Nope, just common sense.

Delusional would be actually believing that Hawthorn had a better dynasty than Geelong :$

Geelong Dynasty > Hawthorn Dynasty :thumbsu:

Regardless of concessions there is no proven home ground advantage.

Then why is it that non Victorian teams request to play more games at the MCG every single year, if there is no home ground advantage?

3 flags in 5 years > 3 flags in 3 years :thumbsu:

It's called longevity :thumbsu:

It was neither. Hawthorn had Geelong's measure all day, it's time for you to move on already.

Yeah ok, and Mitchell, Hodge and Lewis aren't snipers either

Huh?

That quote was in direct response to your quote which said that finals are where dynasties are won and lost.

I like how Lethality conveniently avoided addressing this very fact.

Nope, just common sense.

I'm not after your opinion on whether you think you can look into the future. Just needed to point out that you're delusional.

Then why is it that non Victorian teams request to play more games at the MCG every single year, if there is no home ground advantage?

I thought we went away from that. Tasmania remember? And we were specifically talking about MCG Grand Finals, not home and away games. You're confused again.

3 flags in 5 years > 3 flags in 3 years :thumbsu:

It's called longevity :thumbsu:

It's called taking longer to get somewhere because you're not as good.

That quote was in direct response to your quote which said that finals are where dynasties are won and lost.

Oh, is that what it was meant to be? Well it still doesn't make any sense.

I like how Lethality conveniently avoided addressing this very fact.

We were talking about it earlier . . . it goes towards QFs not being as important as you would like to think.

Do you think the Hawks will win the flag this year, and therefore surpass Geelong's dynasty?

Non Victorian teams specifically request more games at the MCG so they can get more experience on the ground where Grand Finals are played.

David Koch was the most recent figurehead from a non Victorian club to raise this issue in the media.

Great teams don't lose finals in premiership years.

5 year dynasty > 3 year dynasty.

Great teams don't lose finals in premiership years.
In Geelongs 5 years they won 3 grand finals, lost 1 and lost a Prelim.
Hawks past 5 years they have made 4 straight grandfinals, won 3 in a row and lost a Prelim.
Longevity? Looks like a similar outcome......
Looks can be deceiving.
Hawks made 4 consecutive Grandfinals, Geelong only 3, Hawks won a 3Peat.

Really? Funny you haven't mentioned this earlier.

Don't delude yourself elias.

2011 Geelong were clearly ahead of us and we couldn't get past Collingwood in the prelim either. if anything by beating us in the QF the PepCats saved us an embarrassing GF defeat, doing us a favor.
2009? Who gives a shit we were miles off the pace that year and were never in the hunt for the flag.
1963? Most of us weren't even alive then. Mentioning it only proves how desperate you are and how little ammunition you have.

We cost you a flag in 1989, B2B flags in 2008 and quite possibly a flag in 2013. Don't kid yourself fool, we are WAY ahead on the ledger and you know it.
Holy shit you know it's an elias but you meltdown to it anyway. lol
