3 recent flags but the Cats are nearly as broke as Brisbane. Why?

Do you think the Hawks will win the flag this year, and therefore surpass Geelong's dynasty?

They've already surpassed it. Hopefully they can pull further ahead though.

Non Victorian teams specifically request more games at the MCG so they can get more experience on the ground where Grand Finals are played.

Geelong does the opposite, they campaign for games at their training ground. Now there's a home ground advantage, although they've been unable to exploit it.

David Koch was the most recent figurehead from a non Victorian club to raise this issue in the media.

The same Koch who wants compensation for Ryder even though Port knew what they were buying? :$ Any port in a storm I guess.

5 year dynasty > 3 year dynasty.

Not if it's alternating flags and failure in one and straight out unbridled success in the other. That's why Hawthorn's gone ahead, and that's not even counting 2008 which we also won.

Great teams don't lose finals in premiership years.

Yes they do, it's a mark of greatness that they can recover from a loss and travel twice and still come out on top. Resilience is a hallmark of a great team, and we saw that again last year with Hawthorn. You should want your own team to display those characteristics.

Really? As opposed to playing them where?

Don't they have the record for consecutive home ground wins when from 2007 to 2014 they won 56 of 60 games at 93%..?

What club has exploited it's home ground advantage more than that..?

Against playing them where?

Against anywhere else.

Tough question

Is that the same team that got beaten by Failmantle in a final at home?

Campaign is a pretty strong word. So do you have a link to where Geelong have regularly protested about their home games not being played at home?

So you're talking about a 1 game window to "exploit" an advantage. Lol, how daring of you.

lol this numbskull.
So the hawfs consider the MCG to be one of their home grounds right. So how many finals have the Hawfs lost at home?
Holy shit how many GFs have they lost at home..???

In Geelongs 5 years they won 3 grand finals, lost 1 and lost a Prelim.
Hawks past 5 years they have made 4 straight grandfinals, won 3 in a row and lost a Prelim.
Longevity? Looks like a similar outcome......
Looks can be deceiving.
Hawks made 4 consecutive Grandfinals, Geelong only 3, Hawks won a 3Peat.
Seriously mate, you are the biggest melter I've ever seen in my long career on the Bay... Keep it up, it's entertaining stuff.

I didn't say anything about protesting.

It's not my fault Geelong didn't make the 8 last year.

Nice melt cooky - surely you could've used a fancier chefmoji than that

Take a deep breath and step away from the computer and get back to rogering yourself

OK then, define your use of the word 'campaign' there.

Only 1 final played there but yet Geelong had the advantage in finals there. lol, you twit.

Geelong football people making noise in the media about how they deserve a final at Kardinia Park

Only 1 final played there but yet Geelong had the advantage in finals there. lol, you twit.

Number of finals played doesn't have anything to do with it, Geelong should have been able to use Kardinia Park to their advantage. They failed.

And thats a big deflection from big Josh.
Here, I'll help you out buddy - the Hawfs have lost a whopping 6 Grand Finals at home.

Holy shit St Kilda aren't even that bad.

Just like the Hawks failed to win finals and Grand Finals on a numbers of occasions at their home ground? Pathetic.

We've only lost one Grand Final on our home ground, and that was to the AFL's love children. Not to mention Kardinia Park is actually Geelong's training ground, AND the venue was switched there without adequate notice, and Geelong still bottled it? That's poor.

Also the venue Ross the Toss won a final on

Quite a step back from campaigning to "making some noise" and games (plural) has now just become a single solitary final.
We'll just say you either outspoke yourself there or simply don't have what you wanted everyone to think you did. :)

It does if you're banging on about having an advantage in them. Derp.

One more Grand Final than we've lost at our home ground.

The freo final really stings don't it. The AFL gifted you a final on your training ground and what did the cats do???

Exactly what you're doing here.

Embarrassing yourself.
