if last Saturday is any indication, they will be pretty ordinary
by 19 goals, after going the knucle in the 1st half
Anakie were touched up very badly by Portarlington last Saturday.
Good to see they have changed their ways.....
Looks like another poor year for them if there going continue to play that way!

Inverleigh opened at 5 dollars and are apparently already into $3.20
East Geelong opened at 5 and are now out to $5.25 at my last check (gotta be worth a flutter surely?)
BPH is at $4.50

If thats fair dinkum im gonna head strate in to put a hundy on East. Will be challenged but i just reckon there a bit ahead of the pack and i wouldnt think to many people would want them at $3.20 although having said that they mustve been backed in to come that short.

Corio the most expensive club.What a joke.Corio dont pay many players at all thats why we lose heaps of players to arse end of the world clubs like Anakie.

I hope your name doesn't come out, I recon there would be a he'll of alot of corio people not just players that would love to have a quite chat with for calling them thieves. It's amazing how smart and tuff people are when you don't have to back it up with your identity.

In all honesty that's actually a pretty impressive result for Werribee.
saw the game, the first few clearances were dominated by the centrals new recruits, a few games in they will be very tough to beat, esp. at home. obviously Leatch trying a few things, and in patches looked to have hold of the game. Bray coughed it up a few times in a row, cost them a few goals.
Ammos - Taylor had 30 -35 touches off half back. Doesnt look fit, but underestimate him at your peril

how i see it before a single bounce this season (expect a lot to change as it always seems to)
but i think it's safe to say
Absolute certainties for finals = East Geelong & Bell Post Hill
Season will be a failure if they don't make Finals = Werribee & Inverleigh
Fighting for the remaining spot = North Geelong, Winchelsea & Thomson
Teams you wouldn't expect to play Finals = Bannockburn & Corio
Teams you'd imagine will struggle = Belmont, Geelong West & Anakie

only debatable changes IMO are maybe me being a bit harsh on Bannockburn (but I have only heard of key departures, nothing exciting for inclusions) and possibly Belmont, they've actually started to get a few exciting recruits from Deakin Uni but I still think they'll end up bottom 3.
Haven't heard much out of Corio either, few losses (Potter, Nicholls and Clifford) and ageing stars (O'Toole's & Stewart), but they seemed to blood plenty of young kids throughout the year, wouldn't have a clue if they are still there or have gone to North Shore though?
either way though, i think there are 7 teams who can make the 5, and 5 who can't. and i reckon 4 of those spots are already locked in.

Heard that he was definately gone BUT in the last week heard a whisper that things didnt work out and may be back at Corio..anyway from Corio be able to comfirm this??
