Geelong rorting the system

Probably should. Don’t think Cameron should be rucking now that Hawkins is gone. But Scott has outsmarted himself before.

Has Cameron ever gone in the Ruck? Like ever….

Would have made sense if your joke didn’t make sense and literally could have owned us over our fullback playing Ruck full time instead…the joke was right there.

3/10 for effort

I didn’t say he did. And it’s a joke

So if the cats have 90k members, can someone explain to me why 25k turned on the weekend ?
Disappointing crowd. I am Melbourne based and could have gone but chose not to because of the weather forecast / temperature. Football in early March just doesn’t do it for me. Plus, the thing that made my mind up was the warning on radio that parking would be scarce because of Head of the River being on the same afternoon.

The AFL is a glorified 'Michael Mouse Funhouse Competition'.

As much as I would love the AFL to punish one of its darlings, the chances of that happening are the same as Andrew Dillon and the crew actually making a concerted effort to make the competition equitable.
St Kilda only suck because everyone else cheats.

HAWK'S RISE CAPPED WITH MASSIVE BOOTS DEAL

HAWTHORN star Dylan Moore has landed one of the most lucrative boot deals in the AFL, becoming the League’s first Skechers ambassador.

The Californian footwear giant has been a platinum partner with the Hawks since the end of 2022, expanding its footprint in the Australian market.

AFL.com.au understands the All-Australian forward will collect one of the biggest boot deals in the AFL for wearing the SKX 1.5 Elite Skechers in 2025.

Concerns have been aired about the audit into Geelong’s financial affairs after it was revealed their former chief operating officer is part of the AFL team checking the Cats’ books.

Simon Kelleher was an executive for more than six years at Geelong and after joining the AFL, he has been charged with the responsibility of investigating third-party payments at the club.

The perceived conflict of interest was raised on Fox Footy’s Midweek Tackle on Tuesday night with Kelleher, the AFL General Manager of Club, Finance, Performance and Growth in the spotlight over the issue.

Cats coach Chris Scott’s leadership consulting role with club sponsor Morris Finance has previously come under scrutiny and speculation over Geelong recruit Bailey Smith’s long-standing sponsorship deal with Cats backer Cotton On has also flared up in recent weeks.
