Yeah see I reckon that’s true, because we have to go:

- beat the in form top 4 side inter state who has won the last two QF’s against us there

- beat probably GWS who is the one team who NEVER has an issue beating us in Victoria

- then we have to beat one of the sides from the ‘non-easy’ side of the draw anyway

It’s definitely an easier ride than the other way.

Lmao it was a dig at how shit Carlton are chill out mate.
Although it is also true most years the the true best 2 teams end up playing in the same line towards the GF.
2007 is an example Port made top spot but were not the true best team they played the easy beats in that run to a GF and got duly Spanked by Geelong who played the other top side in the Prelim.
Ports run to the GF was significantly easier then Geelongs.

Unfortunately, AFL equalisation , injuries and umpiring have cruelled us.
Great comp AFL.

You know what’s funniest about all of this?

No matter how much of a conspiracy you and your fellow cookers claim is going on, one thing never changes:

‘Most of your players are shit.’

Umpires can only do so much.

So how the f**k do we keep winning, if all our players are shit?

I’d say you’re just incredibly f**ken junk at judging AFL

You're on the main board don't forget. It is well known Geelong get a lot of country kids like Jeremy Cameron who are anxious about living in a big city..
You get a lot of recruits that way so that's a big advantage for you, plus the home ground that no other Vic clubs get.

Melbourne is a city of 5 million people. The rest of Victoria in its entirety is just over a million - and a lot of them live over the other side of Melbourne, or north of it.

I suspect many clubs get recruits in Melbourne because people want to be there. That’s just a suspicion.

But somehow it seems to only apply to Geelong.

FMD.

Also Geelong Falcons academy. A lot of them want back to play for Geelong and also able to hide players better there.

My favourite bit of Geelong hiding Falcons talent was Gryan 'Messi' Miers kicking seven, yes seven goals in Geelong Falcon's 2017 TAC Cup Grand Final win by 2 points and hiding himself until pick 57.

Could've kicked 10 but that would've alerted recruiters of the other clubs, so very clever by the Gryonel to limit himself.

Dangerfield, Jack Steven, Sean Higgins.

The only 3 All Australian players this century who played for the Falcons who ever came back to Geelong: one of them obviously gave us very good value.

What do you think we got out of the others 😂

Tom Stewart hiding himself for 6 years at South Barwon after playing for the Falcons was pretty clever as well, while we were losing all those finals.

And Richmond pays ridiculous $$ for its recruits. Lynch will reportedly be on $1.5M in 2025. Will he even play a game? And Hopper…

Make no mistake.. the AFL are going to end up shooting themselves in the foot, trying to grow the game! Why would people from growth areas such as NSW, NZ and QLD want to follow the AFL when they know the sport revolves around Geelong?? The league is becoming too Geelong centric, and the issue needs to be fixed!

It's bad enough with the accusations of Victoria bias.. but the real issue is Geelong bias!

Really loving how many Cats fans this has gone right over the heads of.

It’s bulltish. Explain how “the real issue is Geelong bias”.

It’s tall poppy syndrome!

Geelong are the only club that get to play games on their training ground... it's a huge leg up over the Melbourne based clubs, as none of us are able to play on our training grounds. We all have to play at MCG and Docklands stadiums! No one gets to train on those grounds!!

Cost of living is significantly higher in Melbourne.. compared to Geelong, so please explain how Geelong are at a disadvantage?? The league is already the GFL thanks to your cheerleaders in the media... and Gerard Whateley is the worst of them!
So effing what? How does training on an oval you regularly play on change anything? You play 18 games a year on your home ground. How would training on it help at all in addition to all the match experience? All ovals are made of grass.

And we dont play on our training ground if our home game against you is at you home ground. All our home finals are also at your home ground. You have ignored this massive actual disadvantage.

Being heavily connected to those responsible for rule making goes some way . You didn’t get to trial rules prior to others knowing them cos your in a nice city.
Hocking / Scott.

Are Geelong the only team to be allowed to train on their own ground every day and no other club is allowed to train there?
Yes, and we don't even let opposition supporters sit in the new Joel Selwood Stand that their taxes pay for. It's all part of Geelong's domination and why we're the most successful club of the 21st century.

Yes I’m sure when we were also top four regulars - as we are now - we went to the AFL and asked them to remove the ability to allow our fittest player, who is also 2 metres tall, to go third man up at every ruck contest. So the 2-and-a-bit out of 3-and-a-bit seasons of the rules YOU don’t like, you’ve addressed.

The other 14?

They’re just conspiracy and co-incidence too? You can’t make up how stupid this sounds.

I’m sure in that initial trial, that 100 minutes, it set us up with a head start that no other club has been able to pull back across 4-5 training sessions a week, 3-4 pre season games, intra club matches, and 23 home and away games plus finals in all the time since.

Pray tell, do you think at any stage, you could issue the other 650 paid professional footballers with ANY accountability to lean some f**ken rules and how to follow them?

Are we the only team with ears or something? Are we the only team who hears the word ‘stand’ when the umpire says it?

You know Richmond did have the option of still being good under the new rules, right?

We made a grand final under the old rules and the new ones.

It’s not that hard
