One female now lives overseas with her high profile partner so his and hers name are now fodder for the media to feast on and the other woman involved hasn't returned to work so I don't see anyone walking away unscathed as you depict. There are no winners other than the afl in this

This whole affair - excuse the pun - reminds me of that scandal rag of the 59s era called The Truth, which would publish scandal that would ruin lives. Only difference here is that the AFL replaces the tabloid rag, and Gil the reporter.

Why this couldn't be addressed in house with some dignity, so that all the families affected could get on with their lives without everybody reading about their problems. They are probably now facing major financial problems on top of everything else.

There obviously was an internal complaint that wasn't handled well so the story was leaked to the media to out pressure on the AFL.
They initially said the claims were false, couple of days later people are resigning and apologising

Story went public because someone didn't like the way AFL house initially handled a complaint.
Who complained and about what I don't know, nor do I really care at this point.

I believe everyone has now been named.

I am watching this Rich v Bris game and thinking how the hell is Rich ever going to win a premiership with the group they have out there. This is supposed to be one of their better seasons for quite some time and yet all I see is averageness across the board. Richmond like Geelong, are relying heavily on the individual brilliance of one player.
