So? Cotchin was going for the ball, and Shiels was too, an accident happened. Boo Hoo. Move on.

You're not a smart poster so please don't respond until you've taken the bias out of your posting.
Cotchin had a an option to tackle but instead tucked himself up and collected Shiel in the head. Not sure how he gets off with Shiel suffering concussion.

I'm happy for the Richmond faithful - even if they stuff up next week they've had a few games in September to roar about.

Clearly means a tonne for the players.

I just had a look at the vision since so many were raising the suspension possibility. I can't say I would be happy if a Hawk got rubbed out for that in a H and A game let alone the Grand final.

I hope he plays. I will be cheering for the Crows regardless. Best team all year

Correct!!!! The question also is what impact did the knock to the head have on Shiels?

Shiels was concussed, did not take any further part in the game.

Cotchin should not play next week if MRP are fair dinkum.......

The suspension possibility is because it would be his third strike, like Hodge early in the year. Wouldn't have thought Hodge would miss a game for what he did, but it happened.

Irrelevant him going for the ball. Head contact , .

No, it's not irrelevant.

They will decide if he was 'going for the ball' or if he 'chose to bump'. If they decide he was going for the ball, no charge; if they decide he chose to bump, he's in trouble

If going for the ball was irrelevant, every time someone copped a knock to the head in a marking contest, it would be a report

100% agree. I'd have no problem if he did something worth 2 weeks in H&A and they manufactured a reprimand so he could play. But he simply cannot get off scott free

Well the ball was in Shiel's possession he either had the option to tackle or bump. He tried a bump and unfortunately he made head contact
