I don’t think Hannebery would be to fond of the big Rough. Well maybe he is but his ribs wouldn’t be

Geelong are the only side that currently cannot trade this year's 1st round pick. Whately deliberately used the Hawks to push Geelong's agenda here.Hawks first pick trade restriction likely to be waived: Whateley

Every year...r*ped and pillaged.
We renew the coaching talent. We lost ratten and gained Mitchell. We lost glass and gained Bolton. I’m sure if we lose yze we will find an even better replacement. The brain drain continues.

Hopefully the Cats keep GAJ, bring in Steven and Higgins using a first round pick somewhere (via Tim Kelly trade) and lose Kelly.Geelong are the only side that currently cannot trade this year's 1st round pick. Whately deliberately used the Hawks to push Geelong's agenda here.

Being post season for both Hawks and Swans could only imagine that it would be someone from GWS, might just have to wait a week.We have Bolton and to come into the mix and a rumoured to be into an assistant from one of the Sydney clubs
Yep. This topping up shit isn't going to get them a flag. I hope they are allowed to do thisHopefully the Cats keep GAJ, bring in Steven and Higgins using a first round pick somewhere (via Tim Kelly trade) and lose Kelly.
It will force kids out and set them back long term.
Lenny Hayes another.Being post season for both Hawks and Swans could only imagine that it would be someone from GWS, might just have to wait a week.
Edit, after browsing their coaching staff Brad Millar looks a nice fit for mine. Current forward coach, has coached a NEAFL premiership.
We need a Hawk as CEO of the AFL.
You have my vote if you pledge to dismantle the organization from within. ☺Ok- I will put my hand up
Can't wait for Thursday and hopefully the Bombres* getting thumped.

Whately didn't misunderstand the rule.Yeah, I reckon Whatley doesn't understand the rule. This article published by the AFL just last week says that Hawthorn has no restriction on their first round trades this year. Geelong is the only club that does. If Melbourne or Hawthorn don't make a first round pick this year then they will have a restriction next year. But still only Geelong is restricted this year.
It's interesting that the media could get this article wrong a few days after the AFL published the explicit trade standings. Unexpected.
First-round pick rule: How is your club placed?
Geelong is unable to trade its first draft pick unless it acquires another first-round selectionwww.afl.com.au
