After doing a google search it was North when they lost to us and then to the Scum with us smashing them in the GF. Oh and FWIW North lost to Fitzroy in Round 13 by 150 points which more than doubled the previous biggest loss by a minor premier which originally was 69 points.

I’m struggling to see any real incident. Obviously Green was all over Bonts head but I fail to see anything specific. Just doesn’t look nice.

I think if Green is rubbed out then the Bont should be ineligible for a Brownlow.

Bonts had scratches on both sides of his neck and a bruised eye after the attack.

Really perplexed that people think it’s not so bad for a guy to attack the face and pull the hair of a player who is lying on the ground and can’t defend themselves.

I say this as someone who has defended Greene for his leg out marking style and has said numerous times that I’d love him at the Hawks (not so much now). I don’t have a Greene hatred - but he needs to go for at least 3-4 weeks for that. If Stratton goes for 2 weeks for pinching and stomping - attacking the face and eyes has to be more.

He knew what was going on (in the later years) but unlike Hird was trying to remove them all from the club. But Cousins is so much loved in the West that he wasn't allowed to move on him by the powers above.

If he attacked the eyes and face of an opponent - sure. I only saw bits and pieces of the game as I was watching the Raiders choke - so not sure what incident you’re referring to.

FWIW - a Raiders player raked the eyes of a player twice in that game and I hope he cops a savage suspension for it, because it’s a dog act.
