I can Just see bombers picking him up next year, where moral values play no part in their ' whatever it takes' moniker.
As for de goey? No matter how talented a player is at their chosen profession, if you decide that it's 'OK' to grope women and belt blokes then that profession takes a back seat. The pies have and McRae in particular have a huge chance here to stamp this sort of sh*t out of the club! I think in the long run it will serve them well.
It’s only a matter of time until he plays the ‘mental health’ card. F***wits like him always use that as a last resort.

I just don’t see de goey rehabilitations his brand like dusty (for example) has. But he’s seriously coming from further back than Dusty did, and probably nowhere near the effort skill wise

Can see them picking him in the PSD this year actually.

He and Stringer in the same fwd line has a ring to it.

‘it is more convenient for the rest of us when all the dickeads are at the club you hate anyway

Wonder to what extent he was involved with the sexual assault.

I also wonder whether his mate takes the fall, if there is no CCTV or good eye witnesses to contradict him.

On a side note, the other guy is a really good tattoo artist who does quite well for himself.

might need it as a side bar inside if he does take the fall. That would be a huge whack to take

I just remembered a little anecdote I was about to share. Remember the annoying recorded screech when the hawks scored last season? Supposedly a hawk? It sounds exactly like the screech at the Baltimore ravens game I attended in London - supposedly a raven - each time they got first down.

was just as annoying there.

Well if you ignore the sensational headlines, related bylines, claims, speculation that our wonderful media always present for no other reason than promoting ratings and clicks - here is the boring summary of facts:

- PHD Moron Mr. J DeGoey and tattooist mate (who still studying his Masters in Moron) are drunk/pinged and shirtless in a NY nightclub and allegedly both sexually assault a 35yo women, then a 37yo male friend steps in to defend her and he gets physically assaulted.
- No one involved is physically injured, in that they did not require any medical assistance.
- 35yo women calls 911 to report her alleged assault and a while later Mr. DeGoey and mate are arrested and then detained overnight by NYPD.
- Both morons then appear at an arraignment hearing where both Mr. DeGoey and his mate plead not guilty to a 'forcible touching' charge and Mr. DeGoey's mate also pleads not guilty to a charge of 'battery'...
- Both morons have surrendered their passports to NYPD until this matter is concluded. Said Morons will face a related court hearing on December 8.
- Pies have 'stood down' PHD moron De Goey, which means he will not be permitted to train or play with Collingwood or make use of club resources, staff or facilities until this matter is resolved...

The End

What did being stood down actually mean? He stops getting paid? He stops being included in the salary cap? He’s not allowed at training? Very unclear to me.

He can't train or be involved with the club and use any of the facilities at the Holden centre. Still going to be paid due to his contract. Pretty fruitless punishment when it's the off-season.

And when he’s stuck overseas until after the court case is finished.

It was the right thing to do but it doesn’t effect JDG one bit. It all depends on what they do after the court case.

The Pies board aren’t holding back. I reckon 98% of responses there are “bye Jordan”.
Conveniently, the club must likely to pick him up when he gets out of prison is.... Collingwood!

Can't they place him on the LTI List (Long Term Incarceration) or something, then bring in a player via MSD?

I'm sure the Pies will get rid of him what ever the outcome in the States. Their supporters are ropable about it and it's not his first time.

I just hope the 'pies still have to pay him - don't want them clearing his wage from that bulging TPP commitment.

Wonder what his brother in law thinks of his first task as De Goey's manager? :grimacing:
Good thing his brother in law is a firefighter, will need to be Smokey the bear to put this blaze out.
