great posting BrunoNot in the slightest bit proud or respectful of Franklin. Zero respect for a selfish self interested mercenary. Zero love. I welcome all recriminations and cancellations but he shall forever remain a Judas. Nope. Nothing. Not even a note of care. Zero respect. Dead to me.
Yeah I got the teams wrong. So why did Derm play a season at Sydney before going to Collingwood?
There are parts of the story that are missing.
Nah mate. Clarko in swines gear is hard to absorb. Wild scenes here at the SCG - buddy a legend. Would you wear swines kit? We can celebrate human emotions I agree. My emotions are sad to see clarko in red and white after all those years of barking mad hawks loyalty.
I've noticed Franklin is far more selfish at Sydney than he ever was at hawthorn, with a massive figjam attitude. Yet the narrative changed immensely when he went there
Assume this isn’t you then…Don’t care. My love of the Hawks is fierce and loyal and no logic will win me over. Nothing will erase my memory of him ******* over the 2013 premiership victory. Unlike those suffering through rose colored memories I will never forget that he plotted to go to the opposition the moment we lost the 2012 flag to the Swans. If others choose to overlook this - good for you. Not me. Does this make me salty? You bet. But you won’t change me. Certain things are constant. I love Lethal. I love Dermie. I love Dipper. I love guts and loyalty. I hate turn coats. I despise Franklin like a jilted lover or an abondoned child resents his absconding father. This is footy. This is tribal. This is not logic.
We more or less sacked him, so he can wear what he wants. Next year he’ll have a completely different kit on for whoever he’s coaching too.Nah mate. Clarko in swines gear is hard to absorb. We don't talk about Bruno (no no no)Not in the slightest bit proud or respectful of Franklin. Zero respect for a selfish self interested mercenary. Zero love. I welcome all recriminations and cancellations but he shall forever remain a Judas. Nope. Nothing. Not even a note of care. Zero respect. Dead to me.
The 1990's says hi.They might be just about the most extraordinary scenes I've ever seen at a sporting event. Certainly at the footy. Hard not to get caught up in the moment. How long was the game interrupted? Quite unbelievable.
Assume this isn’t you then…
Clarkson is one of the very best people to ever be involved in the football industry. His success and the success of those he has mentored is no coincidence. He is a selfless and genuinely decent person. My regard for him has only increased since his shameful treatment by the club’s shambolic management last year (nothing to do with the decision to part ways, but the disrespectful and incompetent manner in which it was handled). I won’t elaborate given it’s a private matter for which he has sought no attention (as is his style) but he has involved himself in a health struggle of a friend of mine in a pretty incredible manner.Clarko isn’t a Hawks supporter - he’s a former employee. One that absolutely respected and promoted the culture of our club impeccably.
If he gets employed at another club in the future he’ll be decked out in their colours too. Give the guy a break - he presently owes this club nothing.
It would have been nice if he wore a Hawks scarf to represent the 580 goals. But then again he may have been asked by Bud to wear a Swans scarf.Clarko probably worked from 7am to 7pm on average at least, including many many late nights scheming about footy for 15 years straight. I don’t care what scarf he wears, still a legend
Buddy was always going to Sydney and it wasn't for cash. Some of us thought it might have been a strange pairing that wouldn't last but him and Jesinta are still going strong over ten years and two kids later.Buddy, I was disappointed when you left, but anyone would have a hard time knocking back that sort of money if they were offered a new job.
Interestingly I noticed that on the right side of the goals you ran in straighter and the ball swung in the opposite direction to your usual delivery.
Well done Buddy, you're a Legend already.
Hey now... you're only assuming they're functioning members of society! After reading the last few pages I struggle to believe that some of you are functioning members of society. Embarassing.
