Neale Daniher Way is a good start but a statue definitely should be there to honour his fighting spirit.

I can get the angst on the one in the first quarter given the contact was initially high anyway. Tbh it looked like he was attempting to still drop at the knees.

Then early in the second quarter Pies already won the free and Ginnivan kept playing and did his action into an Essendon player who had stopped making an attempt to tackle him due to the whistle. Looked very silly doing it into a non-tackle after the play was dead. Particularly given the rule change.

Not doing himself any favours.

Well we want to see footy prowess not that other crap. What pisses me off is that not one person in the media had the balls to take up the battle to Selwood all those years ago. Dermott had a nibble at it many years ago as did Collingwood but Joel had too many Geelong supporting mates in the media to keep the wolves at bay.

But now it was deemed a real problem because others were copying the tactic. The fact the Joel has the most free kicks received by such a margin isn’t by accident. And yet there was Chris, on the front foot explaining how Joel was different. That is the sort of shit that Whiteley would repeat if ever the question was raised.
There has been a few frees missed over the weekend for genuine highs but overall, it has been a massive thumbs up across all the games this week

Playing a real chip scab kind of game. Hardest running I've seen him do this arvo is running around behind his teammates for the hand off so he can hit a short kick they could've done themselves (and sometimes not even hitting it himself). Offering very little defensively, and at least today is a liability in that regard. Not a good game from him this week.

Nick Daicos has become crazy overrated very fast. The main board has him for the AA 40 squad. Guy plays as the 6th defender. When he has been asked to defend he does a very poor job but great on the offensive.

Still should win rising star but not massively ahead of Newc or SDK but next year needs to get in the midfield because he’s so small for a defender.
