2021: They took JHF with pick one and didn't consider anyone else. Could've trade Pick one for 4+4 and didn't.
2022: They might miss out on the best player maybe Wardlaw isn't exactly a consolation prize

What’s dumb is that these F/S kids don’t matter at all.

Whether they get bid on at Pick 1 or Pick 35, they’re not accessible for anyone other than the club their father played for if they’re rated good enough to be drafted.

North didn’t miss out on Darcy, Daicos or Ashcroft, because they were simply never going to be able to pick them unless they were substandard prospects.

Horne Francis situation is very interesting. What’s he worth? His value has gone backwards from last year (was absurd at the time when North knocked back Adelaide’s offer and abject stupidity in hindsight) but he’d still be worth an early pick. But with the Crows fully invested in Rankine, who gets a deal done if he wants to walk?

Yet another former footy player today ended his life and it won’t be at all a surprise if they link it to CTE - and not 12 hours later the AFL rubber stamp that it’s okay to have eyes only for hitting a player high and from behind and concussing them. Ah Chee has been removed from Brisbane's side this round due to concussion. That really should be the only piece of evidence required for Cripps to have at least a one week suspension.
