presidents!! (fify)Basically any player now can use this as precedence when choosing to bump and concussing someone. Can only hope Zantuck's case against Richmond is successful - maybe financial compensation may make the AFL take this more seriously.
Probably worried he won’t get back on a return flight after the game.
a quick Google search comes up with several other high-profile appeals that he knocked back as appeals board chairman, including Toby Greene, Mitch Robinson and Long from the Saints. Coincidences I'm sureWould be very interesting to see who the appeals board chairman Murray Kellman supports - something tells me it’s a Melbourne based side that plays in dark navy blue.

We might not have a game in 20 years time when all the lawsuits come in and point to acts like this not being punished.Ah Chee has been removed from Brisbane's side this round due to concussion. That really should be the only piece of evidence required for Cripps to have at least a one week suspension.
It is an existential threat for contact sport in Australia. Unlike the American sports, the codes in Aus don't have enough money to fully self-insure and insurers are already nervous. The Zantuck case extending limitation periods (unless overturned) could open the floodgates to historic claims. Lachlan Armstrong QC is acting for Zantuck. Armstrong is a pre-eminent class action silk, not a run of the mill personal injury lawyer. It's been obvious for years where all of this is heading but the AFL and clubs continue to sleepwalk into it.We might not have a game in 20 years time when all the lawsuits come in and point to acts like this not being punished.
Tbh though I still don't get why people are dead set on acting like Greene is unjustly persecuted. It seems like every incident he has, people are deadset on defending it, meanwhile some North Melbourne high draft pick sulks in a game they get flogged in and he's public enemy number one with the media, fans happy to pile on!?I do love the Greene one - ‘iT’s A bAd LoOk FoR KiDs’ - yup but seeing Ah Chee bumped high from behind and concussed is just a wonderful image for the game.

Head high contact should be taboo but it's just not and everyone makes a big deal about stupid bullshit that doesn't matter instead. At this rate I hope the AFL gets its just deserts with lawsuits.
Might be entertaining, he's not as soft as Murphy.Rigged. Hope Cripps cops what he dished out.

See ya sniper.
As poorly as we have done trading with the expansion sides, at least Essendon have done worse.
There is far too much legal intervention going on in football, and one of the many reasons long time supporters like myself don't love the game anywhere near as much as we once did. I'm waiting for the day a contentious free kick is awarded on the siren in a Grand Final, and a winning goal is kicked as a result. I can see legal action to determine the outcome of the game. You may not know who won the Premiership for 6 months or more.
Can you imagine if the Wayne Harmes incident in the 1979 Grand Final took place today? Imagine how long it would take to determine the outcome in the courts.
The AFL make a big fuss about unnecessary bumping and head high contact, and a number of players have either been fined or were banned from matches for doing less than what Cripps did. Maybe all those players should join together in a class action against AFL to be compensated for their losses. Why not make a total farce of the situation?
And in future, maybe we should have lawyers rather than umpires officiating games. There wouldn't be one free kick paid all day.
Whole situation is toxic. Best for both parties to part ways but what that entails is tricky, especially given Adelaide invested in trading for RankineNorth board has "info" that JHF was dropped due to refusing to play in his allocated position for this weekend
