Mitch Cleary's twitter said there's an embargo on trades until 3pm tomorrow?
Yeah they did this previously, it's only for tomorrow - trades can get done during the usual times today but tomorrow they've condensed it so it can be televised.

No wonder he was leaving first chance he got. Even if he potentially was a prick.

North trying to make the suns look professional

The Zurhaar reaction to JHF leaving is remarkable, imo says more about North and its leadership than the Hornet
Not sure about that. If he's making that kind of comment then JHF must have been a pretty unlikeable prick. North are better off without him.

Credit to the Cats for being the ones to benefit from this, but can we please talk about how much of a PoS 'club' the Suns are?

No one gives the slightest f*ck about them there or anywhere for that matter after more than 10 years in the comp.

Killing kids' careers and being an absolute drain on the league's finances, all whilst Tassie can't get a team and other traditional teams are dying a slow death.

If the AFL had any business-sense, they'd have put a bullet in them long ago.

How the **** do any of them keep their job?

The AFL needs to sack the board, the management, and the recruiters. Just incompetence at every single level.

And their supporters are clueless. They are happy the club is using the money to keep their existing players. If they arent bringing in new top players, how the **** do they expect to rise up the ladder?

How did that strategy work out for them with Jack Bowes?

Wonder who'll be offloaded with a back-ended contract next year?

The AFL the other day said that Geelong had to return at least an F2. Then Geelong went and used their F2 in a trade. Leaving them an F1 they didnt want to send, and an F3.

So of course the AFL signs off on them using an F3 in the trade for 7 and Bowes.

After blocking the Port and Roos trade saying that Port needed to save their F1 and couldnt use it to get JHF who was pick 1 last year - so clearly within their wriggle room rules which lets them consider allowances.

Gotta cut Geelong some slack. They've just lost 100+ free kicks per years

This trade is a joke.

Particularly when you think back to the tantrums GC had over JOM.

I honestly cannot figure out how this has been allowed to happen. Why is a struggling club like GC - basically owned by the AFL - simply allowed to give pick 7 away?

It is bewildering.

What's this happy crappy?

Surely I'm reading this wrong?

Suns gave a player and pick 7 and are receiving approximately pick 54 next year in return?

Unless the player in question has a habit of going through the wallets of his teammates, how the hell does this get signed off?

I mean, good business by the Cats, but this is bordering on trading for the slow kid's pudding cup with a gum leaf

Where have you been? This is all this board talked about for the whole first week of the trade period 😂

they mentioned on 7 news about Richmond's "super 6" midfield in anticipation of a 5 man bench next season. does this mean they're getting rid of the sub?
Busted arse Cotch, stringy calves Prestia, Checked out Dusty mixed with Hoppy swollen knee and this kick could go anywhere Taranto and for the icing in/out of games Bolton. Super 6... a huh a huh.

JHF to port looked orchestrated by Kochie, his Dad and Port, it almost looked planned from beginning and the interview today almost just looked like he was doing what he was told. His clearly got a bad attitude but that comes from the people around him.
