The difference between Hawthorn and Adelaide’s 23 and under is that Adelaide has superior young key position players. It’s one of the reasons why they find themselves improving so quickly.

I getcha, but Walker is old, Fogarty is finally coming good after looking like a dud his first 5 years.
Doedee excellent, but not convinced he'll be there next year. O'Brien is average id say?

I actually think our KPP stocks are just as good. Lewis is better than Fogarty. Sicily is better than Walker. Reeves/Meek can be as good as O'Brien. DGB will hopefully come on.

They look much better than us because they have a better ruck (ROB), four experienced midfielders (Laird, Sloane, Keays and Dawson - who is new to the position, but a gun nonetheless) and a KPF (Walker) who has been in great form over the last two seasons.

The U23 talent is similar IMO:
Rachele
Rankine
Tilthorpe
Berry
Schoenberg
Soligo
Michalanney

All are good to elite talents. But I think we match up in this regard.

Crazy how quickly things get away with the pace of footy this year. Adelaide are so good to watch with how purposeful their ball movement is and how dynamic their forwards are. I still think Thillthorpe will be a gun to go with the smalls.
