Yeah the 1991 basically takes out three of the top goal kickers of all time. No locket, dunstall or ablett. But im amazed hawkins gets there ahead of lloyd. The whole ff line is a bit meh compared to what you could pick from that time period.

Even half their careers stack up. Ablett 3 Coleman’s Lockett 2 dunstall 100 goals x4

Tbh he is looking like he could do with some time away from the game and some little self care

His last interview on 360 sounded like a guy who had absolutely burnt the candle from both ends. Needs time away 100%

Lockett was a 5 x AA from 1991 onwards, the same as Hawkins, he absolutely can be picked in this team from 1991 onwards.

These selectors have actually looked at it and gone who should we pick as the best FF, Lockett with 5xAA’s, Lloyd with 5xAA’s or Hawkins with 5xAA’s…. let’s go with Hawkins. 😂

Let the man travel for a year, deserves a well earned break

I'm actually really concerned for him.
He never took a break after his son died, and that's when his weight ballooned ( a sign of depression/medication for depression)
Stepping away after such a long time of being busy can really rock people.
I really hope the industry supports him and keeps in touch with him

Let Geelong have their meaningless All Australians…
At the end of the day we have the most premierships during that period and that’s all the matters by a long shot…
It has always been this way.

2008 - Cats 7 AA's, Hawks 2AA's + a premiership.

10 Geelong players were in the squad that year - that is just silly.

No AFL mens tonight, but we still have Abbie
Watched the Hawks v Collingwood game last night, a few cold frothies and some fish and chips. We had had a few good quarters thru the season, even several back to backthru, but on this day put it all together, all four quarters. They had a red hot crack and we just cracked right back. A glimpse into the future. Reckon this will get a few re watches thru summer.

Curly, Mo and Larry.

To be fair they were pretty bloody dominant that year
No chance Harley and corey should have been in the aa. Mcpharlin is the obvious kpd ommitted. And both sam mitchell and Simon Black should have been in ahead of corey. By round 11 hawthorn were on top of the ladder.

I reckon Corey edged both of them that season. Can't comment on Harley making the team because I hate that guy and it clouds my judgement. We may have been on top at round 11 but by round 22 they were ahead of us by 4 wins and 30%

The worst part of the AA mafia is somehow the peeps thinks it’s got GOAT qualification input

Honourable mentions: Six-time selectees Joel Selwood, Ben Cousins, Chris Judd and James Hird are the unlucky quartet to miss out.

Some worthy inclusions, but no dunstall lake hodge Mitchell jarman voss black akermanis Martin Chapman Lloyd Lockett Bradley kernahan silvagni I etc etc
Getting Bill Brownless to do the side was the first mistake

Harley was good player but average by AFL standards. Benefitted from being captain in such a strong side .
I always thought it enhanced his playing and captaincy capabilities.
