This is an absolute travesty. Both signed 5 years extensions earlier this year sadly.
And possibly a far better player than either of them in Oliver. They take big risks Geelong, but the rewards are potentially very high. Especially Oliver, who is a 2 times Coach's Association winner. So cats will get Jack Martin and Bailey Smith.
I just want them to fade away and disappear

Media training goes out the door after a few cheeky beers at the BnFTigers are doing their best to steal the limelight from Aints.
Don't Bolton, Baker have basic media training? Why can't they speak matter of factly, maybe repeat Dan Houston's words
Bwahaha

ahhhhh got it.They tagged in the Saints, who didn't allow Battle at theirs.
I didn't get it either, helps if you knew their BnF was on tonight though!ahhhhh got it.
Slow witted mule I am at times.
Thank you
Very desperate. There's a comedic element to it as well.I don't know why people are throwing Jack Martin into the conversation around Geelong being good at trade period. Do we normally count DFAs?
On the other two, how do they get them done? Smith and Oliver don't appear to have too many other suitors, but Oliver is still on a massive contract and I can't see Melbourne giving Geelong a bargain without them paying his entire contract - and I doubt they do. Smith alone should be a challenge to get done.
The other point is, how do they fit? The last two teams who have transplanted this much of a new midfield from other sides were us in 2017 and Richmond in 2023. Both instances proved that the equation is much more than just talent in. This is as desperate as Geelong has looked for mine.
