So the founders are leaving the company and MS still paid 2.5 billion..........
Merchandise and DLC must be making a killing for them to drop that kind of coin.
Shows how worried Microsoft is about this generation, they're buying everything they can get their hands on.

I wouldn't be surprised if contracts in place before the deal happened are preventing Microsoft from cutting off other platformsSo worried that they're keeping it on every platform.
This is bigger that just Xbox imo.

I doubt you will see any more free updates at all for minecraft and slowly see the transition to minecraft 2 which will be xbox, mobile and pc exclusive.Possibly, but would they still have to support it?
If there is a Minecraft 2 I wouldn't be surprised to see it exclusive to MS platforms (Xbox, windows, windows phone, etc.), but that's as far as I see it going in terms of exclusivity. I guess it depends if they bought it to make money or to push their devices.

It looks like Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is heading to Xbox 360, possibly in a remastered form and perhaps rather soon, if the emergence of the game's achievement list is an indication. It's the 10th anniversary of the Xbox and PlayStation 2 title this month, so the timing seems apt.
The achievement list has arrived on this very site - you can view it here - and points to some of the game's unique features like working out at the gym. You could also eat burgers and chicken to make protagonist CJ fat and slow, which was fun but kinda pointless.
Rockstar has yet to officially announced Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for Xbox 360, and other platforms could also be in the pipeline. Of course, the game had been available on the Xbox Live Marketplace as an Xbox Original, but never remastered and with achievements.
We'll have more on the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas re-release as we get it.
Give us a ****ing Vice City remaster
If you add achievements/trophies I'll make it my mission to Platinum any of the PS2 era GTA titles.
Yeah, me too.
I had began playing through the GTA series on iPhone, but I guess I'll hold off if they are going to re-release with trophies.
I can only imagine that to be painful playing on a phone.
Rumors of an Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas began to circulate yesterday with the leak of new achievements for the game, and now Rockstar has confirmed that GTA: San Andreas is getting its own re-release on Microsoft's last-gen system.
Astute gamers may have noticed that the Xbox Originals version of the game available in the Xbox Marketplace has gone missing. Rockstar explained the removal as a sort of out-with-the-old, in-with-the-new. While the original version will never be available again on the Marketplace, Rockstar has gone ahead and made it available as a purchasable game through the Games on Demand service starting October 26.
The company promises that this isn't a mere change in how gamers can purchase the game. The graphics have been improved, supporting 720p resolution, improved draw distances, and as the achievement list leak already revealed, full achievement support.
In addition to the revealed list, there are an additional 11 secret achievements to unlock in San Andreas.
