You can make trades after the Anzac day clash, just not for Collingwood and Essendon players. Only difference is they will be locking the reverse option for all trades once the Anzac game starts, so once the game starts no backsies :p

Thank you very much :thumbsu:

What is the loophole and how does it work?

With the partial lockout scenario that pops up reasonably often this season, you select a player playing in the first game of the round as a vice-captain. So, for example you'd select Pendles/Watson/Swan/Stanton or whoever you think will score the best as your vice-captain.

Now, if they domiate and rack up a 150 score or something, after the partial lockout you select a non-playing player as your captain. So, as referred to above, you would probably pick Ablett given he isn't playing this round. That player will naturally score zero and hence the score attributed to your vice-captain now stands as your captains score and hence a double score.

Alternately if the player you selected as VC in the first game spuds it up you can then select another player in your squad who is playing and who you think will score well enough to be captain for the week.

Basically that is a summation of the Captaincy loophole.

Who is more likely to get more game time, McDonald or Treloar?

Could someone answer if they expect Dahlhaus to continue scoring well over the year?

He plays in a team that'll be bottom six, will have hot and cold games 85-40. Reckon he'll end up averaging 70 ish in my opinion there are better options for his price. But he would be a unique POD.

i don't see dalhaus dipping under 50 in any game.. he hunts the footy and is involved always.. will be him and Boyd being the consistent ones consistently over 70 in losses....

Well, would Tippett keep up his performances? It's Dahlhaus or Tippett.

I was thinking of Lewis but I'd prefer to pocket the $$

would prefer to choose neither to be honest.. if u can afford Lewis choose Lewis - especially given Hodge's injury status

Thats not much of an endorsement.

I think it would be safe to say that Dahlaus should round out the year averaging somewhere between 95 and 100. He will always get games, as he is important to the team. He works hard, so regardless of whether the dogs win or lose, he should always get a respectable score.

Dalhaus to average 95 or above... umm are you for real? So he'll be in the top 10 forwards? Average more than pav or others of that ilk... I highly doubt it. But please trade him in...

Probably right, but it's not that far fetched to expect. Considering his role within the team and his start, he has shown that he is able to find the ball, and uses it very well. He is averaging 21 touches, 3 tackles, 5 Inside 50's and a goal playing in a bottom side, with numerous players around him to take the opposition tag. 95-100 might be pushing it I admit, but its not out of the question.

Also, i'm not touching him, I was simply responding to another post. I think he looks good, and im trying to be optimistic, but I wouldnt risk it myself.

Hey guys

I traded Shaw for Corazzo, and had Rohan, Hibberd, Carazzo and Ablett last week :(

With Treloar doing well, can I move Dustin Martin who is currently a forward into the midfield for ablett, then gunston off the bench into the forward line?

Cheers
