Update to the power ranking and the thirty-suckers and Adelaide stinkers drop down dramatically.

36ers still have a high rating because they are the hottest ticket in town but they need to sack Bruton asap. It’s like he’s got too much depth and focusing on giving everyone a crack rather than put out the best side

Do United go up to first? A league seems to have moved on and up from its troubles. Giants are the best performing team but play a sport and league that gets no mention.

Yep United clearly the number 1 now, slapped the league leaders last night, have the best player in the comp in Goodwin. Have at least three future Socceroos running around now (Gauci, Irrakunda, Popovic), have sons of guns coming through (Alagich, Bernado) and coached by a local legend. If you want a team for the whole state, they are it.

AU games, esp at night, are great fun. Highly recommend people jump on the bandwagon.

Also, unlike the 36ers, lots of local lads to get excited by.

FIFA would have to be the most inept organisation for ticketing.

Last week was another window of opportunity to buy women’s World Cup tickets.

Astonishingly for one of the biggest sporting organisations in the world they don’t accept American Express.

Also, the hoops you have to jump through to get tickets was ridiculous - oh and after all that they won’t tell you where you’re sitting until they release their ticketing app ‘at a later date’.

Australian baseball team having their best tournament ever at the World Baseball Classic.

They upset Korea on Thursday before smashing China yesterday.

They’re playing Japan tonight, who are the world number 1 side (I don’t expect them to win), before finishing off the first round against the Czech Republic tomorrow afternoon.

A win either tonight or tomorrow means we advance to the second round for the first time ever!
