Raph Epstein had him on his program last week on a phone hook-up. He accused Raph of bullying him, kept dribbling rubbish instead of answering a question and when Raph was quiet so that he could answer, Gerry just told Raph that he was making him angry and hung up on him.

It was as ridiculous as the time Charlton Heston was being interviewed in his own home and got up and walked out of his own home and left everyone else sitting there

I'm amazed no one has bumped this thread to talk about that interview with Epstein before now actually. I heard it, it was laughable. He genuinely sounded like a petulant ten year old.

I didn't hear it live, I'm currently in WA, but they had it on Insiders on the ABC on Sunday morning, it was one of the last stories.

Anyone who listens will take their own from that tussle. Epstein had a point he wanted to make at Harveys expense & Harvey would not let him, is how I see it.
It is better described as 'verballing' than bullying & in this case it drew a blank.

It does remind me of the argument over the GST on imported goods bought online, that included an interview with Harvey where the interviewer claimed the Harvey Norman business model was bricks & mortar & outdated. Strangely enough Harvey did not agree. The business acumen of that interviewer has never been explained. I've searched for that interview to link it, a shame because it was more entertaining than this effort

Extremely common for those customers to not receive the contract until AFTER completing the sign up. Many not even handed a printed copy. Told to wait for the email/in the post.

Most didn't realise it was a credit card.

Fees aren't advertised anywhere.

This isn't new. Latitude are just copying what GE Money did with Harvey Norman the past 15 odd years.
