Conway, Oliver, Smith, Holmes is a hell of a starting midfield that could play together for the next 7/8 years.

Conway might reach 50 games by year 8!!!Conway, Oliver, Smith, Holmes is a hell of a starting midfield that could play together for the next 7/8 years.
Ablett wasn't even playing in 2001. So he did very well to get a 5 year deal.We signed Gaz for 5 years on peanuts (as it turned out)
Not many were getting 5 years in 2001
40/60 being conservative, could and may happen but nagging in the back of my head says Dees screw him and make him stayOk ... If Clayton Oliver on leaving Melbourne to come to Geelong, what would people say what's the odds on him coming to Geelong, and staying at Melbourne..
Remember gamble responsible
Someone in the media would be well advised to contact our coach and ask him if he’s met with Clayton Oliver in the last 48 hrs.
And Chris……you can only answer yes or no.

Bless you Warhorse for being consistentSounds like Bruhn
Hunter is well known for his party life outside footballHunter came from the dogs? Don't know much about him being a basketcase though
And I stand by that. He will be better off in the Geelong environment and with the support he'll receive at the Cattery. You didn't say may, you said he'll be so much better off as a person at Geelong.

How could I forget. This is the default response but it is like people can't remember what early career Selwood was like
SO now that Carlton have an extra first round pick, they are coming for Houston and SDK?

You're going to get sick of watching the next 100 or so games of Bruhn.
Bruhn and Clark are similar. Both average midfielders who should get to C/B Graders. Main issue is the one pointed out already in which they need to soak up midfield time in the AFL to develop as the cant play any other position. Already cost us a flag this year when we were basically a man down with Bruhn playing in the prelim and got smashed in the midfieldBless you Warhorse for being consistent
Clarry truely is incredible. That's what? Shepparton, Olympic Park, & Geelong all within 2 days?Someone in the media would be well advised to contact our coach and ask him if he’s met with Clayton Oliver in the last 48 hrs.

Invariably there are more misses than hits thoughI can totally understand people not liking long term contracts, particularly for solid average players like Balta.
The Menzel example is no doubt a cautionary tale. But there are always outliers that retrospectively prove a point. What if we had instead signed Gaz jnr. to a 10 year deal on peanuts after his first season as an underperforming half forward?
Zuthrie was a rookie list defender. It was a long term investment from the outset. Clark is a blue chip midfielder. It’s a poor comparison.
You do know that for years and years you've been the worst at pretending to know someone.Someone in the media would be well advised to contact our coach and ask him if he’s met with Clayton Oliver in the last 48 hrs.

That is correct sir. He has responded quite a few times. But I haven't sent him those selections for a while now.You do know that for years and years you've been the worts at pretending to know someone.
Shaneo is correct. No one knows everything here.
How can anyone believe that someone on a forum is across 5 trades.
Tell us who we are drafting.
Catsriot used to send Wells his draft picks. And apparently wells responded. lol
Jumping Jack is Andrew Mackie. We just call him Jumping Jack to throw off suspicion. You do know that for years and years you've been the worts at pretending to know someone.
