Ok ... If Clayton Oliver on leaving Melbourne to come to Geelong, what would people say what's the odds on him coming to Geelong, and staying at Melbourne..

Remember gamble responsible

40/60 being conservative, could and may happen but nagging in the back of my head says Dees screw him and make him stay

I think people are going way too early putting a ceiling on Clark.

He's a smart footballer with some real weapons between his attack on the ball, defensive game and vision. He's also a fierce competitor and showed the ability to rack up the ball when he was given licence to do so in the VFL.

I can run through a string of champions at our club who showed less in their first 2 years. That's no guarantee he becomes a star but I'd be incredibly surprised if he isn't at least a useful AFL player and it's hard to gauge his ceiling from his limited exposure at AFL level.

Writing him off based on his first full season when he showed glimpses of real class at AFL level is silly. The comments around his late season VFL form are absolutely laughable when he was playing a very specific, very defensive role and did it well.

You're going to get sick of watching the next 100 or so games of Bruhn.

Bless you Warhorse for being consistent 😃
Bruhn and Clark are similar. Both average midfielders who should get to C/B Graders. Main issue is the one pointed out already in which they need to soak up midfield time in the AFL to develop as the cant play any other position. Already cost us a flag this year when we were basically a man down with Bruhn playing in the prelim and got smashed in the midfield

Someone in the media would be well advised to contact our coach and ask him if he’s met with Clayton Oliver in the last 48 hrs.

And Chris……you can only answer yes or no.

Clarry truely is incredible. That's what? Shepparton, Olympic Park, & Geelong all within 2 days?

Take that Bruhn! That's how you get from contest to contest!

I can totally understand people not liking long term contracts, particularly for solid average players like Balta.

The Menzel example is no doubt a cautionary tale. But there are always outliers that retrospectively prove a point. What if we had instead signed Gaz jnr. to a 10 year deal on peanuts after his first season as an underperforming half forward?
Invariably there are more misses than hits though

You do know that for years and years you've been the worst at pretending to know someone.

Shaneo is correct. No one knows everything here.
How can anyone believe that someone on a forum is across 5 trades.

Tell us who we are drafting.

Catsriot used to send Wells his draft picks. And apparently wells responded. lol

That is correct sir. He has responded quite a few times. But I haven't sent him those selections for a while now.

Jumping Jack is Andrew Mackie. We just call him Jumping Jack to throw off suspicion.

Try to keep up.
