Zoe = Quality. The undoubted reason to keep watching this show after its lost a lot since the first run. Whitney, Joseph, cargo net, Vulcan, faster travelators. Zoe's top rack makes up for a lot of that.

Any pics?

DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY, worth looking at her isn't it?

I think the show is getting a bit better too, there doesn't seem to be quite so much editing, cutting and chopping so much as there was in the first couple of shows. It's getting better slowly. The gladiators are showing a bit more personality too. They're getting there.

We still need the Cargo Net and faster Travellators in the Eliminator (that ladder where they are hooked up and have to unclip themselves has already lost a lot of time to a few competitors), but overall the show is getting there. And while i'm at it, they need to get rid of the waterwall to finish - bring back the bursting through the paper.

Will there be another series folks?

It started out brilliantly in the ratings: beat anyone and everyone, then people started drifting off.

I watched every episode of the series - still one of the best shows around i think. And thoroughly enjoyed it.

But what will happen now on? Will we see another one next year?

Hopefully not.
We knew and hoped it would be lame, but not that lame, everything about that series needs to be overhauled if they are going to make anouther one that doesn't suck

what footy does it clash with?? it's on sunday evenings

Sunday evening fox footy... for those in the Eastern States...

I watched the first two episodes, and nothing after that, partially due to work and other commitments, partially because it is shit. Neither sport nor anything else.

Focus more on the action, less on the bullshit fake acting and interviews, and make it less predictable... i.e sometimes have the ref look at a replay and not find and infrigement...

I was 6-7yo during the original Australian Gladiators, was only on air for about eighteen months but was massive in my family then and full of household names to us, exactly the kind of thing a kid wants to see.

I was about eight when it originally aired in Australia in the mid 1990s. Our Saturday nights featured back-to-back episodes of Man o Man & Gladiators.

I applied to be a part of the 2008 series but I was unsuccessful. I reckon I would have been successful between 2010 - 2015 if the show was continued during this period when I was at the peak of my fitness. What I failed in 2008, I was able to achieve years later. Unfortunately I'd have no chance of being successful this time round.

Netflix one is much better than ESPN 30 for 30.

Espn doco focused too much on series creater Johnny Ferrero who screwed over the gladiators and his co-creater. I just found him uninteresting given we all tuned in to watch the gladiators.

Netflix docs focused more on the gladiators stories and what went on behind the scenes after the tv taping/live shows.

it's coming back... again!

I'm a touch surprised that you could pull off a lot of the games in 2023 - the injury risk is so massive for so little reward, especially when it comes to concussions. When I read this news the other day I watched a couple of eps on Youtube - they're all on there - and there's a couple of duels where they're just teeing off on each other's heads. You can't do that now, surely.
