Congratulations. Sydney players and supporters deserved this win. Your a classy club with great supporters who always turn out in their colours and never abusive to other team fans. I have great memories from a game when we travelled up to play Sydney in Sydney and got soundly beaten. Despite the loss, it was the great Swan supporters who sat in front of us that never belittled or screamed out abuse. I still remember those fans today. True champions all around. Enjoy your win. Great win guys. Was leaning slightly towards Sydney, purely being a northern states club, but the moment that bullshit holding the ball free was paid against Kennedy I was barracking for ya's. Winning against crap umpiring is that much sweeter.

Congrats to the Bloods fan base. The way the Swans go about their business reminded me of how the way the NMFC under Pagan (2002 post Carey) & JYD did it back in the day. Very much a unified team effort.

I got the privileged opportunity to seeing the game from inside the fence and how the post game celebrations / crowd reaction exploded at the final siren. Flashbacks to the 90's glory days. And great to see ex-North star/ 1990 John Coleman Medalist - 1999 Premiership Player get his second premiership medal as a coach. Onya Horse!!

Oh man, I freaking loved that match! Sydney are easily my second favourite team! It was fantastic to see Rhyce Shaw getting his premiership medal, and Sam and Ben Reid sharing the win!

Those umpires tried to screw you over big time (Hawthorn had 11 more free kicks!), but you still prevailed, like champion teams always do. It's also great that Hawthorn supporters can have their arrogance shoved back in their faces now. Absolutely no respect for that team whatsoever.

How about coming onto the Swans board just to disrupt a positive and light-hearted conversation to attack another person's team? Calling Collingwood irrelevant as if Hawthorn are any more relevant than us? Attacking our defence, when you have Clangermakers in your team?

Congrats Swannies, thought the win was even more meritorious given the 3 man advantage the Hawks benefited from. Must admit though I don't like the references by players/coaches/media to the Bloods. Sydney have been the Swans for decades, I consider references to the Bloods as a slap in the face to Swans fans based in Sydney.
