Reckon Hollands could be sub next week. A good mid/forward option. Tsitas is another option there.

Although 8 tackles!

Did some nice things, just doesn’t get enough of it. But then our fwd line is stacked with talls/medium talls.

He’s competing for lead up space with Day, Burgess, McLaughlin & Moyle also rested forward.

Might just be me, but I do see a bit of Jared Brennan in him. Flashes of silky brilliance then fades out. Then back again. Just has to find consistency over 4qtrs.

He is slow for sure but he actually has OK lateral movement. I recall this being a feature of his in his draft year. Constable is just a truck.

Top of the table clash tomorrow against the 2nd placed Casey Demons so we'll find out if our ressies are actually playing top 4 footy or if we've just been dealt a kind draw to start the season.

But our kicking is the main problem. Our clearances aren’t doing great either, as we are turning it over in the middle after winning the ruck tap.

Getting run off the ground and we’re moving the ball awfully. The worst we’ve looked this year overall.

We’re really relying too much on tall contested marking today.

If we can get some ascendancy in the middle we can get back on top though.

I still think Sefton is too good for VFL. Just put positions his opponents regularly.

Geez Burgess works hard.

Demons definitely the toughest defensive team we’ve played. Holding our entries very accountable. Good experience for a lot of the younger kids to see a good defensive set up and generally well structured team.

Wish the commentators stopped frothing over them though. Gold Coast kick a goal and they still talk about the defenders…
