The whole team lacked composure. The opposition just kept working and working and Suns did not have an answer once they started kicking behinds instead of goals.Stein.. mate
Well Stein just cost us our winning streak with one of the worst defensive decisions I've ever seen...
One free was terrible for intentional. Constable getting pinged for arguing is dumb by him though.Did we not do ourselves any favors? Absolutely not.
Were we on the end of an absolute shafting from the green? Absolutely yes.

Was a brain dead move, but Stein wasn’t the reason for a 10 goal to 2 second half.Well Stein just cost us our winning streak with one of the worst defensive decisions I've ever seen...
Oh we shot ourselves in the foot no doubt about thatOne free was terrible for intentional. Constable getting pinged for arguing is dumb by him though.
But we lost the game, not the refs. This wasn’t a close tussle. We dominated and then did nothing.
Yep. No midfield accountability. Hollands is a huge worry. Seems to have lost all motivation—only 7 touches... Huge concern, considering he was in quite a few centre bounces. Was a brain dead move, but Stein wasn’t the reason for a 10 goal to 2 second half.
Hopefully this loss wakes some of the players up and makes them realise you still need to bring a full 4 quarter effort at this level to win. Some pretty disappointing games from some of them.

At least Flanders is running both ways. But him and Constable rack it up; and then there is a huge drop off to the rest. J. Anderson was ok I guess. But we were beaten there from what I could see. Similar to last week, but went the other way.
Yeah, and 15 last week. Not sure what the deal is, but he has not looked good at any level this season. Shame, as he looked a player last year.Wow 7 touches
Unbelievable
His confidence is shot, it's a tough lesson. He and Flanders, I hope both stick around and harden up as we move out Swallow and Ellis in the next couple of years. They are both key components of our football clubWow 7 touches
Unbelievable
Right but no matter how you get there when you're in the heat of the battle and it's close late in the fourth, the good teams don't panic and make bad decisions. Unfortunately Stein was guilty of a really bad decision that cost us a goal and it was the cherry on the cake for Werribee's comeback. They were pressuring us, waiting for their opportunity and they got it in that moment. Was a brain dead move, but Stein wasn’t the reason for a 10 goal to 2 second half.

It's probably a good thing that this happened because we needed a wake up call after what we got away with against Southport last week. Tough conversations will be had after this game and it's needed for blokes like Hollands who didn't do much.
You just hope that 'L' stands for 'lesson' and not 'loss'. If it's just viewed as a one off loss and no one changes the way they play then that's probably worst case scenario. It's probably Josh Drummond's first real test as our VFL coach to turn this L into a lesson and make sure the boys don't repeat it.1000% this
It stings in the moment but it's absolutely an L this group needed to take.
If tough losses taught teams valuable lessons, the Suns 1st team would be premiers by now1000% this

You're right but I really don't like hearing itIf tough losses taught teams valuable lessons, the Suns 1st team would be premiers by now
There might be a few things to take out of that, but as I said our midfield is looking weak. The only real difference is Blakely is injured and Davies is in the firsts, otherwise it’s mostly the same midfield fronting up each week.
Our forwards are carrying us every week at the moment. So if they get inaccurate, we are in hot water and the team crumbles under the pressure.
