You probably need another developing ruck if brock is your reserves ruck when moyle is not playing.
Most clubs seem to have 3-4 rucks, or some rucks who can play forward.
With Read in defence.

I feel like we have technical issues a lot. But I don’t watch the other VFL games, so maybe it’s normal across the league.

Pretty frustrating. Seems like we are playing ok, at least.

Our depth defence needs some work. Way too many holes there, which you’d expect.

Ellis(?) maybe got injured too.

Only our forwards keep us in games when we have patches of dominance.

Davies certainly not adapting to the new holding the ball rule yet... the guy just can't get his brain to choose the first option.

Expecting Dimma to start clearing a lot of deadwood from our list this year.

Far too many guys running around that will never play seniors again and others that won’t develop into AFL quality.

He was caught quicker than he expected and the leg kinda got trapped. He limped back the contest. Ball got cleared before we got to see if he went off

Read will just have to keep developing there, with Day and Casboult chopping out.

Especially if we lose Moyle, Read needs to be ready to be number 2.

The two best un-drafted Academy Rucks for the last few years, Pickering and Dawson, are sitting on the Central Districts and Southport Sharks lists respectively.

Dunno why we don’t sign a few of these developing local talls as VFL only players. 18 year old academy talls aren’t a match for VFL bodies, with the exception of Jed!!
