hey. Ive spent the last 20 minutes reading through this entire thread. It has suddenly made me very interested in picking rischitelli.

I wasnt really aware that he had such a bad run with injuries last year. Would have thought that when you are injured, you rest to get over them. Sounds like he played through a lot of pain, hence lower output in 2012.

I am obviously interested because he is priced at an average of ~62.5. Having averaged 96 in the two years prior, he is of great value if you believe he can play like that again.

Another thing that interested me, is that in the first year with the suns, he would have been one of the first tagged after teams decided that ablett was close to untaggable. Now that bennell and swallow have developed like they have, he could just go about his job with no one really following him.

Im interested in hearing from you guys
-how close he is to his full fitness ( % wise)
-where he will play/ how many games if fit
- what you believe he can average. I would be at least hoping for 85 to make it worth it.

I would appreciate any comments. Cheers in advance.

im curious to know if suns fans think riska or swallow will ave more? thanks

Probably under rated or perhaps forgotten about a bit to be honest, as he was forced to hobble around on 1 leg a lot of last year. Will play in the midfield and forward line, previous years has been a good clearance and tackling player, I'm expecting him to get back into the above average and consistent midfielder he has proven to be in the past.

I am guilty of this a little bit. I had forgotten how good he actually is. Had he stayed fit last year he most likely would have polled up there with Stanley in the BnF.

He will get back to his previous averages I think. Cannot see any reason he wouldn't as he won't rotate too heavily through the forward line with a few of the other boys like Stanley and Ablett doing more of this (he still will too an extent of course).

Thoughts on Bock, Broughton, Harbrow, Matera, McKenzia, Prestia, Russell, Smith and Swallow?

I know it's a big question. Any response is helpful. :thumbsu:

Thanks.

Swallow and Harbrow would be my picks out of that lot. Harbrow will have more freedom this year and more of an offensive role from the wings now with Broughton and Murphy coming into the back 6.

Also Swallow having an injury free preseason and will take it up to the "Harley" level in my opinion

Hey guys, how's big Z Smith looking atm. Still you're number 1 ruckman? Looking at him as a value pick @ R2. Many of you have him?

Happy to answer in Carlton questions you may have :)

Hey all, interested to know if you guys think Gorringe will get a run early on.

Played 4 ok games in the NAB.
Who was missing for him to get a run and will they be back in for round 1?

cheers

Don't think he will play early games. More played NAB just to expose him to some footy and see where he is at. Will spend time in the 2s.

question regarding the ruck situation. smith is the obvious number 1 but will gorringe be playing back up on a consistent basis? not sure if u will play with smith 1 out or go with 2 ruckman (am i right in thinking gorringe is second choice ruck?) looking to see how good is your second ruck's job security and how many games he will get. not overly fussed about scoring potential at this point as i need someone to sit on my bench as a 3rd ruck but with good job security. cant imagine him as a high scorer though.

also, hows brennan tracking? thinking he might be a smokie option as a bench defender in my SC draft league

Gorringe question was answered a few posts above.

Don't think he is our second ruck. That's Charlie Dixon. Gorringe may get a few games I think, but not consistently. Think he'll spend plenty of time in the 2s to get his confidence back.

Brennan been tracking okay. Will be playing more midfield this year if he can keep his standards up.

Im sure this has been asked a lot but how much will Ablett's scoring be hampered if he plays up forward?
