Yeah, blue was the last colour you saw before they arrested you there.
And the next thing they see, after being mercifully knocked out mind you, is black and white prison bars.
Yes?

Yes?
Its only a short trip from carlton to Collingwood.
They arrested them, we corrected them
Pity you both pass through Richmond though. Would probably explain the kind Vietnamese people who propped up Richmond during the 90s, as most Melbournians (except for some hardcore Tigerheads) didnt want to have their bottoms plowed by the Jailbirds from Carlton and Collingwood.
Oh and by 'Correct them' did you mean get them hooked on Horse?
I prefer the northern route ( so to speak) and avoid the riff raff of Richmond.
Pfft, hammer. Aint my cup of tea. Thats the Fitzroy side of Smith st. Only the discerning congregated on the east side of the street.
Speaking of rotten drug cultures, how is the coast these days? Still getting crumbly eccies up there? Maybe they should think about calling GC 'The Big E'
Depends what side of the fence you are on I guess. Old age and respectability .......... its a killer! No idea to be honest. Im a wine drinker and fisherman these days. Dont even touch pot. Though worked a few places where coke was all the rage with the regulars, but I just didnt see the point anymore.
By the way, is there any other kind of drug culture than a rotten drug culture?
I think Alistair Lynch actually mentioned the "Heelers" as a nickname for GCFC. I could be wrong though. Someone did for sure though.
Wow, I can't believe that you can't believe that your opinion may not be shared by everyone
Personally I think the "Guards" was better.
Every single Lifeguard or flag would have been a marketing reminder for the coast !
Sun has been corrupted into use as a common noun for years. This may offend astronomers, but it doesn't offend common sense.
Don't even bother with the blue. Just 50/50 red and yellow horizontally. No matter what the gold coast end up being called, they should still go with a simple guernsey design. They don't want to have a problem like port adelaide who joined the league with a ridiculous looking jumper. Here's what i propose:

Gold Coast Heelers would have a 'Bluey' connotation linking it to Carlton. Shame though, I like it/
Also love the Gold Coast Snapper Heads cause I love Snapper, and Snapper Rocks is also an iconic surf break.
Perhaps if Snapper were a more fierce fish it may have been an option. 'Carn the Snappers'. I like it.
Dont mind the Suns but it does sound rather safe. Sharks were always my favorite despite the Southport connection. Even StingRays I grew to like, GC Rays. Couldve worked a treat.
We have the GC Blaze up here for BsktBall, and theyre all a bunch of w***ers. How about the Gold Coast Natalie Imbruglias?
i like the gc rays as it has a double meaning. string rays and sun rays and then you don't have to put up with another god awful sun logo!
Triple meaning?
gold coast alf stewarts!
