Yes true there will be a bucks show on the saturday, it will be at the game, stripper at half time and beer in the water bottles. Shouldn't have any worries with numbers with the entertainment that will be on show.

Names to watch, as posted earlier -

B Monk and L Millard both quality young talent
Randall done first ever pre-season, training well and played well last week swapped with Henry between FF and CHF.
Coulter would be worth a look at too.

Would that be Sam Randall you're refering to TRO.

Yep, Sam or Stephen, which ever, that's they guy!
Showing some good signs early, strong marking and a few goals too!
I think most clubs within the league know what Sam's got to offer, doubt whether his decent preseason will send too many shudders though opposing clubs

BTBB-
The Choco dilemma is a tangled web.
Ingredients: Choco, sour East Geelong Prez and Wandella.
The bottom line is that Choco wants to play at Wandella and that is that.
The Macorna ground has been anything but 'fine'.

Wonker-
Still very much on the perch and loving it. Just giving the fingers a rest around a few cold ones, mate.

Whoever is watching-
Heard that Quamby may be using Kerangs ground and train somewhere in Swan Hill. Any truth??
Wandella's ground should be ready for the first round. Been dug up and all the neccessary nutrients layed and with the little bit of rain we have had, round 1 beckons. Add a soon to be full dam and we are under way.

Phew...

He wants to, but will he be able to?

Can you expand on that for me Sept, I've never seen him play. I know Quamby chased him for a while.
Pretty self explanatory i thought. Reasonable player, but been around for long enough for opposing clubs to know what he's got to offer, doubtful to set the league on fire, not that anyone was saying he would. You've never seen him play but you're aware Quamby chased him a while back, interesting?

Hey there Super Snoop:
1) How is the leg?
2) Recruits (pipeline).
3) How did Isaac miss out on a World Cup berth?
(When was the last time Symaonds made over 200?)
4) Will Murrabit win the Night Series? (Don't give me that game at a
game at a time crap either.) 2 big wins = confidence.

Judging by the scorelines, i'd say it is the same as playing GRFL bottom sides.

Wouldn't be ideal I would guess. It augers for an uphill battle foe the likes of Lalbert and NNWU during the 2007 season. The ground may have improved a bit over time I suppose. Slightly. Lalbert and NNWU are in for some long days at the office that is for sure.

1) good
2) possibly
3) unsure
4) possibly

Welcome to the fray there, Kid. Remember you are what we 'regulars' term as a 'newbie'. Stick to what you know and don't get overzealous with what you say. We don't want outrageous rumors flying now do we.

Oh, and this is how you spell the word. B...U...D...D...H...A. Just for further reference.

Enough newbie bashing, who cares who joins first, the more the merrier Bernard the Bipolar Bear says:thumbsu:

Hey lads thought I might throw in a ladder prediction to create a bit of real discussion.

2007 Ladder
Wakool
Marrabit
Nully
Wandella
Qaumby
Moulamein
Hay
Ultima
Macorna

Let the discussion begin.
Been long time since Ive posted. Less free time in the "Burn" then the great,:thumbsu: Culgoa

Yes and it is great to be back. Glad you could get a glimpse of it Trent. Amazingly the guts stayed in the shirt. That velcro came in handy.

A catch that reminded me of the slips expertise of Buddha back in the old days when he was catching the nicks from Cassidy thunderbolts.

I disagree with a few there. Wakool is the team to beat. I think Hay and Ultima will be the big sliders. I think Quamby will improve but not that much. I think Macorna will improve, 2 weeks ago I would have said no but from reports there recruiting is starting to pick up. I don't think Murrabit will be as strong, they will still be top 4 but losing the 2 Hutchy's and Flemming is a bit of goal kicking grunt. Last year after Henry I think those 3 were the next highest, but I'm sure Hein and Hirst will pick up the slack. Moula will improve I hope and get off the bottom. Wandella will depend on a few retirements I think, if Spider, Fish and Stewy don't play it leaves a bit of a hole. Nully I don't know, Smithy is a huge pick up but Hogan and Bode are huge losses, they'll still be there abouts.

My Prediction:

Wakool
Murrabit
Nully
Macorna
Wandella
Quamby
Ultima
Hay
Moula

I think any of Wandella, Macorna or Quamby could finish in any order around the 4, 5 or 6 mark. I think that is where the interest will be this year. A lot will come down to injuries as in every other year if teams lose key players there won't be much between 1st and last.
