The Ladhams trade is one of the worst in history, we will finish bottom 4 which means that's a top 25 pick lost for a petty upgrade!!!! Well done #PAFC , you keep surprising me in a ***** way.
Yeah, you've gone a bit early. No one knows how this trade plays out - I'll back in our recruiting team. Sinn could well be a bona fide star (he's already cracked the team in Rd 2) - as for pistol, it's not like he's walked into Sydney and has set the world on fire.

Regardless, now it looks like Ladhams PLUS a (what looks like)potential top 25 pick for moving up 6 places on the draft is a bit too much to digest.

What did Crows pay for Dawson? barely anything and we shipped our big man for peanuts considering the fact that Lycett looks cooked and Hayes is untested

Missing out on Dawson for the price the Crows paid for him was an absolute disaster. Dawson is a gun, I'd happily straight swap Sinn for him in a second, but we paid Ladhams + an early second rounder more for Sinn than they did for Dawson.

Mute point. He didn't pick us.

The reality of a rebuild begins

Boak good enough to go another season but only for leadership rather than impact (if we dropped him, tough decision but zero chance of winning a flag during his career)
Gray gone
Motlop gone
McKenzie gone
Skinner playing for his career
Mayes gone
Jones not good enough but give him the season to improve
Schofield (hopefully the lure to get his dad back)
McEntree not good enough but give him the season to improve
Dixon probably finished with glass ankle issues but keep another season
Jonas probably saved by his contract but put on trade table
Fantasia body isn't up to it.......saved by his contract but put on trade table
Farrell isn't up to it.......saved by his contract but put on trade table
Hayes clearly not up to it if he can't get a game..............saved by his contract but put on trade table
Lycett finished.................saved by his contract but put on trade table
Wines wasting his time at port.........put on the trade table

a huge and ugly 2 years ahead

Sadly the only interest left in this season is what, if anything, the people in charge are going to do. Statements like 'success isn't always linear' will no longer cut it. Nor will all the propaganda they try to sell us via puppets in the media.

Ports list will become one of the worst in the AFL. Its very easy to become infatuated with players and somehow delude yourself into thinking we are killing it in this area.
I would suggest we are a bottom eight list at best and the rot that has set in with this idea of holding onto hinkley while the club rots around will be seen for what it is.

We're tracking to be 2-7 before the bye
Melb - LOSS
Carlton - LOSS
Eagles - 50/50
Saints - 50/50
Bulldogs - LOSS
North - WIN

We likely pinch one out of those Eagles/Saints games.

After that it's
Geelong in Geelong - LOSS
Essendon - WIN
Richmond at the 'G - 50/50
Swans - LOSS
Suns - WIN
Freo in Perth - 50/50
Saints -50/50
Melb - LOSS
Geelong at home - LOSS
Pies at the 'G - LOSS
Richmond at home - WIN
Essendon in Melb - 50/50
Showdown - 50/50

Best case - 10-12 miss finals
Worst case - 4-18 and bottom 2.

I think we go 8-14 and gain momentum in the back half.
