Not in the least bit surprised. Is anyone honestly surprised?
With Goodes out there wouldn't be selection pressure on Reid, but he's still on the injured list too which means he might be back for pre-season, if we're lucky.
Is anyone honestly surprised?
I'm afraid to say it...but injuries are catching up with him...and quickly.
Was my first thought too. Won't make 400 games now. End comes quickly sometimes.

Goodes has already played 331 games.. Only needs 69 games to hit 400.. So possibly 3 seasons left and he might be able to knock it off and plus he's what 33. Bartlett and Tuck both made 400 at around 37 years old..
All depends on how much more Goodes will put his body through.
Same operation (arthroscopy/key hole) as LRT had. Let's hope the prognosis ends up better than Lewie's has.
I actually had the same operation around the same time as LRT. I'm playing social indoor cricket now, but couldn't play a game of footy just yet. For minor surgery, it actually takes a bit of time to settle down...mainly because of the deep scarring.
Speaking of LRT, any news on how he is travelling. He'd be a handy inclusion.
Not at all.
Longmire also said Reid, Mumford are chances for this week.
