I am only putting something forward which i was told by 3 seperate sources over the last 2 weeks.
If it's wrong then no worries, but don't bite back so hard.
I was under the impression big footy was all about this sort of cr#p.
By the way i'm all for Echuca .
I'd rather they were winning and i'd like to see them beat united, i just don't think it will happen yet.

What is the problem Cec Bull, with that list i was expecting bottom of top 6, still early but to finish 6th you need to beat Shepp and Euroa.

Heard today, Ben Cosgriff done his knee and is out for the season, huge loss for the young bulldogs.
And after 3 losses, problems at the Eagles, board members not happy with most of the squad training in Melb, Tuesday and Thurday nights is a little quite.

Fair enough Cec i may have bitten to hard but the payment thing is wrong. Guess we will note the result Saturday afternoon. It's a long year.
They haven't got much choice really.You can't expect the Melb based players to travel back just for training and Mansfield haven't got enough local talent to be competitive in the GVL on their own.
Board members just have to accept it!
Problem at Echuca at the moment is too many 'chiefs and not enough indians',plus they like other teams find it hard not being able to train together,but thats the way it is,so you just have to get on with it.
As the year progresses you will see a 'pretty handy side' and they are a long way from GONE!

Was talking 2 cozi this arvo & said will be 4-6 weeks, is getting the knee scraped on tuesday! So will be back bout rd7-8 with the split rd!

I agree. With new palyers in the team, they will only get better and their game v United this week will be a ripper!
Echuca still in the top two teams in the league when they get their full team in.

Echuca clearly have a talented list, but the next four rounds will go a long way towards shaping their season with games against United, Tatura, Kyabram & Mansfield!

watched the Echuca United game yesterday. Dont think I have seen a worst first half of footy for a long time than the one these teams dished up. Second half did get better thank god.
Hard to get a line on either side other than they will figure prominently in the finals action. Thought archard was well held, Mcglone serviceable. Murray was terrific all day off half back and for mine he was Echuca's best though not named in their official best. Normington was good whether down back or up on the ball for United, class player.

League are leaving it late to name their inter league squad. Ballarat have been training for the past 2 weeks twice a week and from all reports a dead set up for the game.

Just talented kids having a red hot crack each week. Stuck with Mooroopna for 3 quarters, had chances against Benalla and just pressured and chased hard yesterday, stuck to their game plan and had a red hot go. Bowen nearly won it off his own boot for rochy but the young swans just kept coming in what was a great game of footy. Last quarter had 3 or 4 lead changes at least and Swans broke away in dying minutes.

And it was great to see the rochy president go into the swans rooms after the game and commend them on their performance. Spoke sincerley and honestly to the swans players. Hats off to him, you dont see that often.

Cec bull won't take your money. All in good fun. Game was patchy and would say neither side is playing at their best at the moment. Echuca showed some promising signs and the scoreboard probably didn't show their dominance of the game, missed some easy set shots etc. United will bounce back but might be without pertovic for a while. Got reported for girl slap across the face of Archard. Have heard Petrovic (not sure of the exact spelling of his name) has only two more weeks before he is deregistered. Not something that united could offord i wouldn't think. Not sure if that is true but that was the word Sat night. Can anyone confirm that this ir right or not ?

I'm not too sure how many weeks Perkovich would of been up to in total but he was foudn not guilty. Looks like Archard confirmed what was written on here and it was only a push. Its amazing if found guilding he probably was up for 4 weeks but now is free to play.
With that in mind what do all you posters think about the yellow card and red card in country footy. I'm pretty sure it came in to stop the thugs in the country footy but how many times has there been someone yellow carded or red carded and then been found not guilty at the tribunral.
Just thougth i'd see what others thought.
Also i see in todays herald sun Russel Robertson is giving up his job as playing coach at his new club., Blames it on yobbos abusing him all the time. Not a good look for country footy. We wanna see the ex afl players in our leagues, we dont want them being pushed away. It hink it needs to go both ways
