Good to see all of the Echuca under 18's boys scoffing into a big breakfast at Cafe 3564 this morning. I can't see anyone stopping them with their big inclusions - Zannella, Wilkinson and Herrick.

united won by 9goals,all over for mooroopna..............ky.8.14.62 to echuca.4.12.36............so does united get a home final at deakin next week??

Looks like a bit of deja vu for the Echuca boys this year. You'd have to say United and Echuca are an even bet for next week's preliminary final.

echuca will win easy, much better skills and with all those inclusions will be un-stopable!! united have hit form but echuca will be to good i'd say.

Looks like a bit of deja vu for the Echuca boys this year. You'd have to say United and Echuca are an even bet for next week's preliminary final.

I think you will see a very different Echuca outfit next week-could'nt play any worse and a number of players will be keen to rectify their poor performances! well done to Ky-well coached and better on the day

they should drop them players that they got bak from the ones and bendigo,that way it might be a HAPPY TEAM AGAIN..ALL IS NOT WELL AT ECHUCA...The players that came bak into the team dont rate the coach and the other boys are dirty on there mates being dropped..

they should drop them players that they got bak from the ones and bendigo,that way it might be a HAPPY TEAM AGAIN..ALL IS NOT WELL AT ECHUCA...The players that came bak into the team dont rate the coach and the other boys are dirty on there mates being dropped..

That is a ridiculous post. Stop trying to cause issues. Hendo has done a great job and is a fabulous coach. No issues there and as if you would not play the boys who are available. They are still junior players, not their fault they are good enough to represent the Pioneers and their injury hit senior side. As for the blokes being dropped, that obviously is harsh but they would have known this was a possibility from well before the finals. Echuca will win this week and be better for the grand final.

wat skool footy r u tlkn about under 10s? i am sure any skool footy team that is anygood will play their best team and not worry about the politics. i do think that echuca will bow out in straight sets unless they come down to earth this week and really decide to play footy and not rely on their massive egos to keep telling them that 'they r good'

i was over at tat on the weekend watching the ky echuca match was a pretty scrappy affair but ky did use there run and ball use alot better... i heard from a mate that ther not getting to roudy about it just trying to keep a lid on it and carry on the good form into the granny... will be hard for the coach though having to drop one player not a fun time but has to be done for oggie to come back into the team. i think it will be a tough encounter for echuca next week and will most likeyl get rolled by united who are in good form. Ky and united in the granny and will be decided by a kick it could go either way.

League BnFs are a short people award these days. Sure all them guys are good players but all would be under 6ft by a fair margin. Umps tend to like the little kids!

i agree with you on that one it is bloody hard for a forward or backman to win it they tend to be short and play on the midfeild.

well done to cole on the medal, he shows his quality by playing in the seniors during finals. A deserved winner. Wilson is a tough nut who gets the hard ball and would certainly catch the umpires eye. Ogden's effort is terrific considering he could have played u/16 footy this year. he missed games due to u/16 bushies and he also played senior footy during the season. Ismail won the league B&F last year in U/16 and to be runner up this year is a great effort. I think it's unfair to have a crack at these guys because of their size, perhaps there just aren't enough big players of quality in the league?? Thes eguys are all great players and we should acknowledge their efforts not slag off at them. Jealous perhaps?

no 'Mr Smith' i not saying that at all ogden is a terrific player who has alot of potential i just saying and alot of poeple would agree with me on this that midfeilders do get noticed alot more... i think that you should have poleed alot better you have been a big inclusion into the ky team this year coming over form the MFL it is a tottaly different ball game and i think you have ajusted very well... i not say ing that these boys didnt deserve it cole has had an awesome year and it has payed off well done to him i not syaing anything like you are qouting at all... i hope to see you have another terrific game like your one on the weekend at tat all the beast in the grand final 'Mr Smith' and other Ky boys good luck i belevie you will be playing united and it will be decided by a kick either way... see you over there.

not committed enough by some boys going out before the game
but this week will be different.. hendo has the boys sorted out
and the big names will be on song this week..
will be a good game if conditions r good

Really hard to pick a winner out of the 2 sides. United are in good form and on paper Echuca have the best list in the competition.The problem may be in the fact that Echuca have too many changes. Herrick and Gorman are away at school and dont train with the group and its ahrd to see them being a totally united group, especially going on the comments from parents on the boundary line last Sunday.
United are rolling along and must fancy themselves. I wonder who the Ky boys would rather play?
I still think Echuca will win. Word out of Ky is that Ogden is struggling with the shoulder injury he copped against the Swans and is in real doubt still for the Granny.
