This is a good move for Wright. He gets to learn from the experience of Cook before taking over.
Not sure Wrighty has the broad skills, temperament, or political savvy ( he’s to much of a straight shooter) , to be a CEO. Sometimes it’s better to stay in your own lane.
But as an apprentice to Cook for a year he’ll definitely find out if the role truly suits him.
