When two Melbourne clubs made it I started to think maybe I spent too much on a package, but when their member allocations sold out I was a bit more comfortable. Logged in this morning to try and help mates out and we all missed out, so yeah, it's a lot of money but for me personally, I'm glad I splurged as for me it's worth it.

According to GIMINO, the tickets were sold out at 10:03am, then I assume only the 1st person at the Ticketmaster outlet can get tickets.

Joined on 3 devices at 9am. Got in the cue at 9.30. Best device had 14000 in front of me. Worst had 26000. No tickets available when I got thru about 10.10. Keep searching about 100 times and 2 cat 4 tickets popped up! Sec 511 but better than nothing!

Queue wasnt time based, it was random generator based on your Queue ID at the bottom. You could have joined at 9:59 and been first in the queue for example

Defeats the purpose of a queue. I actually prefer the old way of being first in at 10am on the dot.

It's possible - if someone didnt complete there ticket purchase / tried for other tickets, those tickets become 'available'. Have to be super lucky to snag them.

Only person I know that was successful today got them at 10:02. They joined the "queue" about 5-10 minutes after me.

An actual ballot works ok for members - but for GA, every man and his dog would just put there name down. Better people at least have to try and purchase tickets, fake queue or not.

Or use the very very old way. No computer and just queue up overnight at the Ticketmaster outlet. Real first come first serve.

I ran with two laptops and a phone. The second laptop was last to load the page and started 7,000 in the queue while the others ended up at 120,000. The 7,000 start got in at 10:07 but was still too late.

I guess there’s no point making the queue first in best dressed because it makes it the same as the old system with everyone mashing F5 when the queue opens.

AFL Grand Final are so well received in WA. More GF should be held in Perth. In saying that I do hope the Covid issue will be gone by the next GF.
