Payne being named as emergency is very interesting.

Remember we can play anyone named in the 26.

So, Payne could get named and Diz sub but that is a risky move.

Yeah if he wasn’t fit enough to play, there is no way they name him as an emergency.
It’s interesting to say the least. Could be a red herring though.

Agree, looking at the Pies line up I would prefer Payne if fit and I assume he is being named as an emergency, and not to forget Payne has good pace and agility and a proven ability to play on smaller players as well.

All trust in the match committee though, they have gotten us this far.

Looking at the line ups a lot hinges on Oscar.

I put my hand up as one of those.

Murphy's law says your emotional leanings are usually wrong.

But maybe we are just better than them . I haven't got any doubt the guys won't be deers in the headlights. They'll be all in from the get go.

I think Lyons should be a LOCK as sub. We need ‘insurance’ in the middle, in the event that we lose an inside mid. He was also really good against Collingwood in Rd.23

Concerns me as well. I'm not anywhere near confident even though I know we can win if we play our best. Pies at the G is a tough assignment. The pro though is that being the underdog usually brings out our best footy
