We were fortunate with injuries all season, but it really hurt when we lost Bruton early, it meant reworking our midfield and even though we dominated for three quarters, we looked a tired in the fourth.

It would have been interesting to see what would have happen if Garner was awarded a free for the head high bump, it may have been the fillip we needed for a better fourth quarter performance.

I can see most, if not all of these players returning next season, along with the return of Vikki Wall it should make for a strong showing in 2024.

Let’s assume she got it and kicked truely….15 point buffer l think..then who knows.that was a game changing moment right there….you could see in that last quarter a few of the gals losing it over the non head high calls,.,
wall in that Fonward line will be terrific…just need to look at some of the backs / mids after today..so very close…

Game plan didn’t hold up in the last either. I50s mean shit if your bombing to Brisbane packs. Then not working hard enough to push back in the last 1/4 left their forward with too much space. We allowed Brisbane to play stoppage football, allowed us to win the clearance but they win the resulting kick.

109 to 75 tackles was the game. They dragged us into a scrum.
