I’m sad to see Tae go, he was an amazing Packer and would have been a Packers Hall of Famer but this was absolutely the correct team building move.
Jeez you guys serious? We can easily keep Douglas now and possibly MVS. Plus we’re in the market for someone like Landry and we have 2 first round picks and 2 second round picks. This is awesome.
LaFleur’s system works much better when all the balls aren’t going to the same guy too, FWIW.
I wouldnt be wasting my money Landry, he cant get any separation whatsoever, hes pretty much a mixture blocking TE now
I was putting that down to the Cleveland/mayfield effect. Landry Beckham and hooper all went to die
Landry has always been slow, now he looks like a turtle on the field tho. I wouldnt be placing any great expectations on him or Julio Jones, I think both are just about done.
I wouldn't say I'm overly positive about the Packers at all generally, but this is such a positive situation. The idea of Alexander/Douglas/Stokes at CB plus at least Tonyan and whoever else we pick up, it's looking pretty good. Getting more elite talent in is all in. Besides, he didn't wanna be here anymore.a fierce Green Bay positivity is your strong suit. Like I said optimistic that we keep Douglas now (who only had ONE good year), keeping MVS (who is not even a WR2 With adams opposite him let alone someone else, assuming we go for someone like Landry who yeah would be a good WR2. And then also assuming we use those high picks on WR. Lot of if’s. Sounds like the rumours doing the rounds is that adams wanted out and we were willing to pay him which is alot different with letting him go.
Don’t get me wrong I can see the positives but lot needs to work and with rodgers we got a few years. They all in or there not? They need playmakers like yesterday otherwise we should of sold the farm and give love the reigns
It'll be fine. Will improve our WR depth. It just doesn’t look like a super bowl side without that elite WR1. Rodgers has openly said he won’t be apart of a rebuild so they must have a plan because we’ve seen only flashes from MVS (plus his role is different) and Lazard and co scare no defenses currently.
Sure it frees up space but it certainly leaves big question marks. Adams is about as close to irreplaceable as you can get at that position.
Yeah this. We would have at least made the Championship game if Rodgers wasn't so hyper focused on Adams in the 49ers game.Time for A A Ron to elevate his entire receiving core, not just one guy.
Been a fair few occurrences of Adams being funnelled balls when the other receivers are wide open, now that cant happen.
Sucks that Adams is gone, but he didn't want to stay in GB, never works out well when you try and force them to stay.
