...because wolves are so common in NSW?
They should at least name it something that is Australian
Heaps of these in China.Tigers, Kangaroos, Crows, Hawks, Demons, Cats, Eagles, Bulldogs, Lions, & Bears are Australian?

because crows are so common in South Australia, Tigers so common in Richmond, Kangaroos so common in North Melbourne?

Anyways, how does the name Wolves NOT make sense? Wolves are strong, aggresive, quick animals that work together as a pack to get their prey. Perfect attributes for a football team and West Sydney Wolves rolls of the tongue easily also.
You only suggested that because you'd like to hear Caro have to use that name.I like the name Snakes
Sydney Snakes !

and tigers and lions and (white) swans and bulldogs are all so aussie...because wolves are so common in NSW? Seriously, why all the love for this name? They should at least name it something that is Australian or even something slightly relevant.
But the name is painfully american.............f***!
But you all get my point. Wolves don't need to be native to NSW for us to use them as our name.

Wolves is a good name for a club - they can use terms like the "pack" for their supporters
Funnel Webs?
Hell, Dingos are just as threatening as Wolves. Pack hunters, bloody intelligent and few things threaten them.
not sure if this has been said but thought Great White Sharks
Greater Western Sydney so they would go with SHARKS would be logical, sign on greg norman as no 1 ticket holder and have grey/black/white colours, i guess that would make to much sense
It's not "a" Power, it's just Power or "the" Power, ********.At least the Giants isn't as pointless as Power!
A giant I understand, I'm still trying to figure out what a Power is.
