On paper West Coast but they would be coming in on a confidense high with the round 23 win, this week and GWS away if they did get up.

Both quality teams.Eagles on there day can beat anyone and matchup well against us and play mcg well to.There a danger.Gws got alot of talent to been close games between us we had them at spotless before meltdown and mcg was close to before it rained. We play 4 qtrs and to our best we have no issues for me.

Some of the West Coast Pensioners are going to find it very difficult to get up next week.
The Giants can bring in a couple and Mumford or Greene could take out one of our beloved. Would rather not.

WCE will know they have to be extremely physical against the giants to be any chance.

All we can hope for is an extremely taxing game.

I feel like GWS are playing like a bunch of extremely talented individuals but not well as a team.

No Cameron for the rest of the finals series, mumford on crutches makes it interesting
too many chiefs, not enough indians is GWS' problem atm.

Just have to hope that enough of them can't swallow their pride/s

I'd rather play the team that loses, because they're clearly not as good :D

I expect we'll play GWS, but at the G I think we'll be favorites either way.

Having Deledio there to see us win our way into a grand final would be nice (nothing against the guy, but...)

I am more worried about how we play, rather than who we play

On Friday nights form, if we bring that, we win

Sorry to intrude.

Just wondering do you think an extremely low scoring first half like on Friday
would hold up in a prelim against say GWS?

GWS best hope would be to start very fast and silence the nearly 100% Tigers crowd.

Going into the final change on Friday I thought we might be in trouble as we had played a physically demanding style of football with almost no scoreboard pressure. Not to mention Geelong have been a fast-finishing side.

If we bring that against GWS or WCE, I believe we can bring more scoring pressure too

The way that first half was played wasn't a problem really, we seemed on top most of the time so if the game takes that sort of pattern in two weeks I won't be concerned about them jumping us. But you do have a point, as I said we were on top but all we had to show for it was 3 goals and a 9pt lead, which was never more than 21pts. Too easy to let a side back in, which we did (and thankfully pulled back away). Been a problem all year for us, not putting away sides when we have the chance.
