Got to give it to GWS - they are winning the stoppages easily against a team that prides itself on contested ball. They look down right scary the way they are moving the ball and are so full of run. I hope we can pressure them into mistakes around the contest and open them up on the turnover. If this game is any thing to go by, we will have our work cut out for us next Saturday. I think we'll win but they look dangerous with their more mobile ruck and smaller forwardline.

Nah, WC are at half pace and cooked. Their midfield are retiring for good reason.
Very very different for them next week. The pressure, they won't know what hit them.

And so were Sydney against the cats and look how that turned out.
Today I ate a sausage roll for the first time in a while. Both my statement and yours have the same relevance to next weeks game. However you're right, Sydney did. I wasn't saying it will mean one thing ore another, just an observation.

Watching this mob demolish the Eagles tonight has left me full of dread. When left to play like millionaires, that's exactly what they will do but they rolled their sleeves up tonight.
I think them losing Cameron and Mumford has been a blessing in disguise for them. Tonight they played like we have been playing this season.

If we're not motivated to win this game for ourselves, it should be to stop Heath Shaw from getting a chance to play in another one. Such a flog.

And it was, now that means they are full of confidence heading into the prelim.

Won't matter, RT, if we play to what we did last week - the new benchmark for intensity - we will beat them comfortably.

Only a rampaging Mumford in career best form would be making me a little jittery playing them.

Watching the way the VFL boys went about it today I'm quite confident that we'll get the job done. Boys were focused, intense and committed to the cause from first bounce to final siren and I fully expect the AFL side to come out ready to go Saturday afternoon.
