He is now following Collingwood & Jeremy Howe on his Twitter account apparently.

Have I missed anything on Lamb, Sumner, Phillips, Plowman?
They couldn't all be going to Carlton, unless they're going blipping cheap.
Surely Plowman could stay another year and fight for a spot against Marchbank.
If he goes, that means Draft 2 & 3 from one year Rourke and Plowman have left the club without ever really having shown the Giants what they were capable of .
An embarrassment of riches, or squandering of talent?

Embarrassment of riches.

Plowman going for anything less than 2nd rounder is beyond stupid.

A 3rd rounder is a give away. If we're doing that let him be a depth defender and leave for nothing end of 16'

Little bit pi$$ed at Plowman. I get why the others are leaving, looking for opportunity, but here's a kid we took way earlier in the draft than anybody was expecting, who had worked his way into a consistent starting 22 and beginning to show what he was capable of, got injured pretty seriously, we rehabbed him through that missing most of the year, let him get his fitness and form back in the magoos, then put him back in the seniors. He's not one leaving for opportunity.

Hate it when players who've been injured all year walk out on the club. Ungrateful sods. Plowman is falling into that territory.

He only falls into that territory if we let him go for nothing when we DON'T have to; agree keep him for fighting for a defensive spot. He has great talent and we should continue to develope it to get a fair and just return. As an aside I hope we develop Stewart into the CHB we need or else we will be having this discussion about him this time next year/s.

Plowman is a beast.
.....
He came back in Rd 22 and looked stronger and heavier. He's never going to be a close-checking spoiler type, but yeah, I think he should fight for a spot.
Also think Phillips is a better tap ruck man and general tall marking outlet than either Downie or Lobb. Was hoping for his 2015 to be a breakout year, but injuries again have soured it.

Buntine.
Shaw.
Haynes.
Davis.
Patfull.
Corr.
Marchbank.
Kennedy.
Mohr.
And finally Plowman.

Surely Plowman could regularly be picked in the back 6.

Whatever that trade suggestion was before is pathetic.

Mohr and patfull will be gone in a couple of seasons and you need some players fighting for spots.

What is most of your thinking for #8, if Aish goes to Collingwood and Bastinac goes to Brisbane, I can see North going after this with a big bundle of second rounders.

8 for 26, 34, 38 & 40.

Dont have points table at hand, but I'd say it's a whole heap higher.

the first five in that list are best 22, that leaves 1 spot. Mohr if fit, Corr starting to really step up, plow with 1 or 2 decent but not outstantanding games at the end of last season...there aint much cryptic about it IMO

A good problem to have, but I just hope we end up squeezing our the right player each time. So far, Tyson and Bruce seem to be the two that might make our 22 for good portions of a year. Miles and Adams very much in and out. Not sure where to place Frost. Plow could be one that that we look back and go "damn!"
