Stephens being able to find the ball is not enough of a feat to bring him in IMO.

I don't think he's hard done by at all.

I imagine Horse & co would be telling him, you've gotta tidy up that delivery by foot. It's a glaring weakness in his game that he hasn't improved in half a season in the reserves. All the other reserves players would have things they are working on to get up to the standard required, so why should Stephens be any different?

I don't think he's done enough to demand selection, but neither has Clarke and we're just defaulting to him as the safe (but not really) option.

Really hope Stephens is the sub. Warner doesn’t get involved enough yet and we’re not good enough at the moment to cover that! I feel like we’d be too tall with Arnold or Buller, though I love that they’ve both made the emergency list.

Spot on

He is a shocker

Probably delisted anyway

Hopefully Hickey will perform significantly better than he did last time he was in the seniors, coming off a pretty good game in the reserves so hoping he can break even and give us first use for a change

Seeing there are three out and only two new in that means Clarke is in. Wow. I thought this would be a good opportunity to get either Stephens or Roberts in. Clarke has proved he is not good enough in multiple occasions. Against GWS he could be the difference between winning and losing. They have a very good running backline. The last time he played a full match it was obvious he couldn't keep up.

Really worried now. Hickey had to come in, no choice. Flynn is the best ruckman in the AFL in the last 6 weeks. He is rivaling Gawn. Francis replacing Rampe speaks for itself. I just hope he has no brain fades. He was very solid last week in reserves

Ummm Flynn is an emergency.

Clarke. Not only in but probably triggering a contract extension. I'm triggered.

I’m a bigger fan of Clarke than most around here, but I’m not sure playing him with Wicks in the same side will work. Both are essentially defensive forwards and it’s not usual you have to shutdown two running defenders
Not Wicks' role. He applies general pressure while Clarke tags a specific player. When that player is off the field Clarke will be too.

They're both next cab off the rank if Gould's card is marked (as it seems) but would only play if there's a late out. Sub is between Warner and Stephens. My money on Warner.
