Boring game, terrible TV coverage, shocking angles, Commentators worse than the game.

Freo not really in swans league at this stage.

Hope the second half offers a few highlights.

I could have posted this topic 2 months ago. Are people seriously surprised that its a boring game (based on what people have posted) ?

Its bad enough listening to bits and pieces on the radio - but im sure the propoganda machine will be talking it up like its the best thing since slice bread.

Freo seem a little soft to me. They need to tackle and be more physical. How many times can you watch a swans player run through 3 jogging dockers. Pavelich is a brilliant player, shame he isn't in a decent side. I also like big sandilands.

The number of out of bounds on the full by players under no pressure has detracted a lot from the contest but it has been a decent game, I was getting ready to turn it off in the first half when Sydney didn't have any players in their forward 50.

Very lackluster game. I switched off during the last quarter. Infact, it's been a pretty boring finals series. Not many good contests at all. Hopefully Eagles Vs Crows is good tomorrow. Congrats to Sydney on winning tonight. DIdnt think they would make the GF again this year a few weeks back, but theyve proved me wrong.

I was entertained right up to the final siren because of a bet I made on Sportsbet at the TAB.

Tipped Sydney to win by a margin of between 20-39 points. All night the margin was around 17-23 points, and then in the final quarter Sydney got out to 40. Then the Dockers got a goal to bring it back to 34. Swans had two shots at goal at around the 29th and 31st minute mark which would have forfeited my bet, but both missed. Siren sounded and I tripled my money

If Eagles dont win tomorrow ill be putting on all sorts of bets to make a seemingly boring GF (Swans vs Crows) into a fun event

Top post mate. Not sure if you noticed but there was a dominant team of today and a team of the future pouring their guts out for your entertainment and for the immediate future of their followers. Spewing forth populist thoughts is easy - see Mr J. Howard/ G. Bush. Get a little creative. As for worrying about the coverage, if you can't follow a game without being led through each moment by someone else, you're wasting your time in your current role.
